Circuit Breakers (Contract Negotiations) (3 page)

Mitch shushed me then rocked forward and slightly upward while gripping my ass with both hands, before he ran one hand down my leg to adjust it higher on his hip. Inch by sweet inch, he rode forward his until pelvic bone hit mine, then he stopped.

His fullness completely filled me, making me seem whole, somehow, as I was locked with this man. Replete but not satisfied.

I ran my hand over the nape of his neck, up through his hair and kissed him urgently.  He kissed me back just as passionately and increased the pressure of the kiss and the depth of his tongue, just as he’d entered me.

Needing leverage, I used the bed to thrust upward as soon as I could, the grind feeling better than anything I’d ever done. Mitch placed his fists on either side of my head, using his arms to hold himself up, and continued to bring me higher and higher. I didn’t think I could experience much more pleasure until his name was torn from my throat, and my body burst and shattered into a million molecules. I vaguely remember hearing Mitch’s deep voice loudly resonate my name at the same moment I screamed his.

A few days later, as we lay tangled in the sheets, we were panting for breath, again.

“You know,” he said much later, groggily. “I think I’ll have to mark your tab as labor pre-paid.”

Mitch’s bid was lower than anyone else’s, and my boss was extremely happy to proceed with the work we needed done. No one at the office ever knew…. Mitch and I continued to meet.

A few months later, while Casey and I were going over accounts, I glanced up just as   Leann came bouncing into my office.

“I just got off the phone with our accountant,” she said, smiling.

“And?”
I asked.

“And,” she went on. “I’ve been given the green light to build our own office. Do you know a good Construction Contractor?”

I gasped. SHIT!  I found my man.  The last thing I needed was making more phone calls.  I quickly glanced across my desk to where Casey sat playing with a strand of her long blonde hair.  I glanced back to Leann, then again to Casey.  Leann followed my gaze.

“Um, Casey, how busy is your schedule?” I asked with a huge smile pulling at my lips.  I didn’t think I’d be able to contain myself, as thoughts bloomed.  Casey was a single parent who’d never been married.  She was devoted to her daughter and seemed resigned to being alone.  I suddenly had ideas of how to get her noticed.

Casey glanced up quickly, her crystal clear blue eyes widened as she realized both Leann and I were watching her.  “Who…me?”
