She got to her feet, too, tempted to touch his chest and those ripped abs, but focused on her rising anger. Kayla wanted to be accepted, loved, desired. Why was it so hard to share her when they’d done it countless times in the past with women they didn’t even care about? He moved out of reach, denying her what she wanted—him.

“What’s so different? Is it me? You can’t stand the thought of being bound to an older woman? Or am I not beautiful enough to be called yours?”

Kayla took a cleansing breath. Why was she so heated about this? He wasn’t her boyfriend. They’d had a brief encounter, and she hadn’t expected much from him afterwards. Now that she’d seen a different side to Ben, a gentler, more real side, she wanted him so much more. She was tired of being denied, of not fighting for what she wanted.

“You’re gorgeous, baby. I just don’t know if I’m meant to settle down.
Austin
’s ready, but I’m not sure if the white picket fence is in the cards for me.”

Nice of him to decide this after giving her a taste of his softer side. She felt cheated and desperately wanted something being held out of her grasp. “Fine. Live your fast life. I just hope it doesn’t bite you in the ass one day.”

She stomped off, parting the corn stalks in a blind getaway. The dry leaves battered her face and bare arms, but she didn’t stop, not even when she heard him pursue her.

When she emerged from the crop into the clearing, she made haste getting back to the house. It was time for her to start her daily work. She cursed herself as she neared the ranch. How long would she be able to maintain this job seeing Ben every day? What would happen when he decided to bring his new flavor home? She wasn’t sure she could bear to watch him with another woman.

“Kayla!” She didn’t stop, just continued on into the house. When she closed the door behind her, she stopped dead in her tracks. Grant and Austin were both standing in the foyer watching her enter.

“Good Lord, woman. I thought you fell off the ends of the earth.” Grant was a sight for sore eyes. His big smile and rugged sex appeal were a comforting, familiar sight when she felt so lost.
Austin
didn’t look too impressed. She imagined Grant had crossed enemy lines in search of her, which tugged at her heartstrings. It felt good to know a man would take a risk for her. He closed the distance between them and tugged her against the hard plane of his body.

“Did you like my gift?” He used his free hand to hold the little palette pendant between two fingers.

“I love it,” she whispered.

“I still want you to capture that sunset for me, darlin’.” He looked down at her with such adoration that all her worries fizzled away…until
Austin
spoke.

“Kayla’s agreed to paint a mural for me. In my bedroom. You’ll have to find someone else to help you out,” said
Austin
.

“You trying to horn into our relationship,
Richmond
? Kayla and me are an item.”

“That’s not what Ben says.”
Austin
’s tone was mocking. “If you were so protective of her, you shouldn’t have shared her with my brother.”

Ben burst in the door, breathless, holding his guitar at his side. He glistened with sweat, his muscles taut. “What’re you doing on our property?” Ben looked at the whisper-thin space between her and Grant with a scowl.

“Came looking for Kayla. She hasn’t been home all week.”

“She’s welcome here, you’re not.” Ben surprised her. He didn’t seem like the type to get riled or passionate about another person. But then again, he’d done a three-sixty on her recently. She thought Grant and the other farmers were angry with the Richmonds, not the other way around. Maybe they’d had enough of the hatred against them.

“Then we’ll leave. Together.” Grant attempted to escort her to the door. What was he doing? This was still her job, even if it was only a part-time gig.

“Grant, stop it.” Then she turned around. “All of you, stop it. Didn’t you used to be friends? Even when I first moved here you didn’t have a problem with each other, but now you’re enemies?”

“Ever since they decided to sell out, they essentially gave up on the community,” said Grant. “Why should I be friends with men who care more about their own bottom line than the people they grew up with? I’d have done anything for these two jokers, but they just threw the whole town under the bus. Our reputation will be ruined.”

“How?” asked
Austin
. “How the fuck do you figure that?”

“We’re organic. If any of your stray seeds starts growing on our land, polluting our crops, we’ll be ruined. Good Lord, you’d actually let your fall seed go to waste just because the big boys demand you buy new each spring? You’re setting yourself up for ruin. Both of you.”

“We’ve got a ranch ten times the size of most. After disease swept our crops, we had to do something. More land only equals more responsibility and more expense.”
Austin
dragged both hands through his hair. “Fuck, what do you want from us? We’re trying our best to keep our family legacy alive. This farm is all we have.”

“We’re doing the same at our place. Matthew and I are all that’s left. It ain’t easy running things just the two of us. We don’t have the GE grain, so we have to deal with drought, disease, and such like every other farmer. It’s just the way it is for people like us. There’s no way to cheat Mother Nature, Austin.” Grant’s voice had softened. They were talking like real men now, rather than hatemongers.

Kayla spoke up. All three of them were good, hardworking, honest men. They’d just been led down different paths. “What can be done to end this mess and bring the three of you back together again?”

Ben narrowed his eyes wickedly. “You can let us share you. It’d be one less thing for us to fight over.”

She couldn’t believe her ears. Was he joking or serious? Ben had shared her without a second thought at her apartment, but to agree to jump into bed with her and two other men? Grant and Austin both tried to claim ownership of her. Surely they wouldn’t go along with this.

Austin
didn’t scold his younger brother. Instead he kept silent, running his tongue over his teeth beneath his lips. His eyes held a mysterious quality, so dark and dominant on his face.

“Now that just might be a plan,” said Grant. Kayla whirled around, feeling light-headed and off-balance.

“What did you say?”

Grant stroked her hair. “You may just be the tie that binds us.”

Ben nodded. “Just wait until you have three men fuck you, Kayla.”

Chapter Thirteen

Austin
wasn’t about to say no to Grant’s suggestion. He wanted Kayla something fierce but was too much a gentleman to move quickly. All they’d shared were a few tame kisses, while Grant and Ben had enjoyed her body in the most intimate way. If he joined in a ménage with the other men, he’d be on a level playing field. He’d also get the pleasure of fucking the woman who made him hard with just a look.

Ménages were nothing new to him. In fact, he’d been the one to teach his brother a trick or two. Kayla was a delicate matter because he wanted a relationship with her, not a one-night stand. Part of him always believed he’d end up sharing a woman with his brother, once Ben passed his wild phase. And since Kayla seemed smitten with Grant already, it was logical for them all to try and work something out together. Maybe the busty little beauty actually could mend some fences. If they all loved the same woman, fighting over grain would be trivial in comparison.

“It’s Kayla’s choice, of course,” said
Austin
. “I want no part in this if she ain’t one hundred percent on board with sharing her body.”

The brunette was awestruck, her mouth slack and eyes wide. Three men wasn’t much different than two, just more hands and mouths to pleasure her. If anything, she’d be getting the most out of the arrangement.

“A minute ago you two were arguing about whose picture I’d paint. Now you’re willing to share me? Fresh meat to wolves?”

“It’s not like that, darlin’. Not at all,” said Grant. “There’s no doubt I want you, but I won’t deny you if you have feelings for the Richmonds. It’s natural to be attracted to other men. I thought the
Carsons
were nuts, and then Chase and Angel…but now I know for a fact more than one man can love a woman.”

“You were just fighting about seed, and now you’re ready to get naked and share me?”

Austin
was sick and tired of the wheat war. He’d had his doubts about joining the collective once the petitions started. But it got to the point that it was more a principle than anything. He didn’t want to be dictated to what he could and couldn’t do with his own land, and the promise of prosperity was a very real temptation. But the stress of being an outcast, looked down upon when he was used to being respected, was too much some days. All he had was his brother, and even he was on his last thread. Ben would escape into the fields with his guitar, either fuming or in a depression. It wasn’t living.

“I don’t know about them, but every second you’re near me I’m thinking about you naked.”
Austin
decided to go with the truth. She’d either hate him for it or accept him. He hadn’t had a woman in ages, and his balls were painfully pent up. The prospect of finally getting a chance to bed Kayla had his dick ramrod hard.

They joined in trying to convince her to say yes to their illicit plan. “Is your pussy wet, Kayla?” asked Ben. His brother was always vulgar and moved fast when it came to women.
Austin
liked to take his time, savor a woman. Kayla would be a treat.

She swallowed hard, not replying.

“You remember when Ben had your legs spread on the coffee table?” asked Grant. “Did you like it when he licked your little pearl?”

This time she nodded. Just envisioning the ménage sex the other three shared without him brought a fresh wave of arousal to his groin. He wanted to see Kayla drunk off her own lust, willingly offering her body over to them. Her luscious curves were still a mystery to him. He craved to see her naked and kiss every inch of her sweet flesh.

“She remembers. I bet she also remembers what it felt like to be so stuffed full of cock she could barely move,” said Ben. “Maybe she’s not woman enough to handle three of us.”

“Naw, she’s a feisty one. Have you seen her give ranchers heck in the office? She’s got a fiery streak that needs some hard loving.” Grant pulled her back against him. She was so small in comparison to each of them, barely reaching their chests.

Austin
had always liked small, feminine women. Not stick thin, but petite with soft curves. Kayla was everything he’d ever dreamt for himself.

“I think she wants us to take her clothes off,” said Ben. He came up behind her, sandwiching her between him and Grant. “First her shirt.” Ben lifted the hem of her shirt all the way up until she was forced to raise her arms above her head. He tossed the material to the side with disregard.

“A pink bra today.” Grant leaned low and planted a kiss on her neck.

“It may be cute, but I want to hold those beautiful tits in my hands. The bra’s gotta go, too.” Ben unclasped her and let the straps slide down her arms to the ground.

Austin
moved in now. He’d been glued to her cleavage every time she saw him. Full breasts were his weakness. And Kayla wasn’t just full but overflowing. Ben cupped her tits from behind, massaging those soft, fleshy mounds in his palms.
Austin
had to have a turn, had to experience her for himself. He first laid a kiss on her bare shoulder, her skin soft and pale. Then he shifted her more to the side, peeling her away from Grant. Her breasts were perfection, sloping out into perky nipples. She’d make a stunning piece of art, if only he could paint as well as she could.

“I’ve got to taste you, Kayla. I feel like a starved man and you’ve got more than enough to spare.”
Austin
squatted down and gripped her sides with each hand. She flinched under his touch but settled quickly, not pulling away or protesting.

Austin
opened his mouth and sucked the soft, tempting areola into his mouth. He pressed his face into her pillowy softness, becoming lost in her sweet, feminine scent. It felt good to be with a woman again, to let the man inside him out to play. It wasn’t easy always being a workhorse and attempting to be the responsible one when all he wanted to do was give up most days.

“That feels good,” she murmured.

“Of course it does,” said Ben. “Your body was made for loving.”

Austin
proceeded to unbutton her jeans as he lavished her breasts. When he got the zipper down, one of the other men began to tug the material down her rounded hips. He peppered kisses down her stomach until he reached the edge of her pink panties. Her arousal seemed to perfume the air, bringing the beast inside him to the surface. He wanted to eat her pussy until she begged him to stop, become lost in her scent, and forgot his manners entirely.
