“And you leave the toilet seat up, don’t hold doors open for girls and constantly make me pick up the check when we go out for dinner.”
“Yeah, we really are just the worst kind of people,” he said. “I guess it would really be doing everyone else a favor if you just caved and agreed to be with me forever.”
“I suppose it would be like a humanitarian effort, huh? Do you think we could get some kind of award?” I asked, leaning forward to kiss him.
“I think I just got mine.”
