“What the hell were you thinking Moira?” Marcus roared at Moira after the taxi turned the corner
its
taillights disappearing.

“Don’t bloody take the tone with me!” Moira rounded
on
Marcus defiance sparking in her green eyes

“I’ll bloody talk to you anyway I want too!” Marcus bellowed as he stepped deafly to her

“They drank the wine of summer and winter you bloody fool
!
What did you think would happen when you started the chaos of the song?” Marcos boomed
going
toe to toe against Moira

Finn and Ian stepped up next to their sister protectively as they saw the colors swirling wildly in Marcus eyes. They felt the chaos running rampant through him
as the air shivered
with the power ready to erupt between their sister and Marcus.

“We didn’t know they drank the wine Marcus, you didn’t tell us.” Ian replied calmly “If we had known we wouldn’t have played the song”

“You shouldn’t have played the song to begin with” Simon retorted
reaching
over to pull Marcus back from Moira. “We have to take this slowly with her or have you forgotten that you
blooming
idiots”

“This coming from the ones
that
gave them the damn wine
to begin with
!” Finn smarted back

“I didn’t give her the wine you moron, she took the damn glass from me and drank from it” Marcus said wearily “She should have spit it out like that damn idiot Jason.”

“What…she drank it without getting sick?” Simon asked eyes round

“She bloody loved it, but you are the one who gave Sarah the summer wine, you blooming buffoon!”

“Well, that wine wouldn’t have affected her if these three hadn’t played that damn song. It would have just mellowed her out. If you have noticed that girl misses nothing and has a wild streak that would rival mine” Simon replied
drinking
from the flask he pulled out of Marcus hands

“Don’t drink it all” Marcus grabbed the flask back
taking
a swallow

it to his jacket.

“I felt the hunger in them and wanted to feel the strength. For that, Marcus I am sorry, the boy, Jason, he calls to me” Moira voice danc
ing
between the group as she looked at each one separately

“Put your damn siren urges to bed on this one Moira” Marcus snickered “You brought out the wildness inside them and if they had kept going it would have killed Sarah.”

“It pretty much did, she was losing her essence out here that’s why I had to give so much to her” Simon responded deftly

The streetlamp overhead burst
as
a cold wind enveloped the group, their breath shimmer
ing
in the
frosty air
. They watched as the mist billowing around them began to take shape
,
bright green eyes glow
ing
angrily at them. Ash stood slightly taller than all of them, a fighter stance with his feet apart

Stepping cagily towards them, his lilting voice wrapped around them seductively pulling their gazes towards the power he emanated. “Well, who do I have to thank for tonight’s events?”

“Ash, we didn’t mean any harm” Ian replied softly

“No, you never do, but your sister will always push the borders of our human’s sanity”

“Me!” She screeched “These two took them to the damn club
before dragging
then here
…” blustering as she stomped her foot “T
hey knew what would happen!”

Moira rounded on the figure before her, eyes wild with anger part
ing
her red lips in a sneer. Cold eyes met her glare
as a burst of
coldness rushed towards her.

Moira
felt the hoarfrost engulfing her, wrapping itself around her legs
,
climbing towards her chest. A whimper escaped her lips as it wrapped around her upper body pinning her arms to her sides.

“Ash.. No! She didn’t mean it” Finn bellowed wrapping his arms around his sister. He poured his warmth into her slow
ing
the hoarfrost. It stopped at her throat, Moira opened her mouth to scream, but no sound came out.

“Will you take her punishment Finn?
Ash asked as he calmly stepped closer to Finn “
She cost us time tonight with her antics and punishment must be given?”

A
fierce
coldness ran through Finn at the sight before him, but he nodded his head
before
stepp
ing
away from his sister.

“You have taken her punishments too many times, no, I think this time she will endure it” Ash responded coldly

The hoarfrost continued its way into her mouth
forcing its way
down her throat; tears f
alling
silently down Moira’s cheek as the bitter cold engulfed her.

“A night without a voice, you siren call will heed no one to you this night Moira. That is your punishment, if you make it through the night without the heat of the lost then you will understand not to cross me ever again.”

Turning, Ash pointed at
both
Marcus and Simon
, beckoning them
to follow as he started across the quiet street leaving Finn and Ian to their sister. They each grabbed their sister as she collapsed in their arms mouth open to a silent wail of anguish. Cursing softly, they held her
touching
their hands together
vanishing
into the night.

As they reached the grove of the park, Marcus turned to Ash who stood silently next to him

“Don’t start with me on the harshness of the punishment Marcus”

“Well, she ha

to Simon
, Marcus took in the tired look clouding his friends eyes
“Are you ok? You gave too much to Sarah, did you bond to her?”

“I don’t know, I just feel tired, I want to sleep” Simon responded as a huge yawn escaped
him

“Dammit, you did, you feel what she feels” Marcus grumbled “You will have to go back for a few days to break it”

“No, we don’t have enough time for me to do that” Simon barked “I can handle it, I’ll manage”

“No the bloody hell you won’t, you are sleepy! If you go to sleep here it’ll be years before you awake. Go home dammit and recharge. I’ll handle it from here” Marcus voice boomed power as he pushed Simon towards the nest of trees.

“He is right Simon, you must go” Ash replied calmly “I’ll go in tonight and ease some of their dreams to help the memories in the morning”

Simon
glared
at both men before stomp
ing
into the shadows of the trees disappearing.

“He’ll be roaring mad in the morning
..” Marcus harrumphed
“Gods
help the poor whelp that crosses his path” Marcus swore an oath as he rounded
to face
Ash
head on

“Don’t”
Ash whispered with intent

That was the only response Marcus heard before he was alone in the park
.
O
nly the moon hanging in the night sky as the early light of dawn began winking in the distance
was sharing his anger
. Sighing, Marcus walked into the shadows of the trees shimmer
ing
away.

Ash stood over Sarah’s bed
watching
as she slept restlessly. Closing his eyes, he lightly touched her forehead instantly feeling her dreams circle him. The club flashed into his mind. The bodies dancing wildly, the lust of Jason’s body pressed tightly against Sarah as they danced. The beat of the bass bringing their bodies together and apart, he felt the silent longing in Sarah. She wanted to be loved and cherished to the core of her being. She wanted the bond she
knew
was between Jason and Siobhan.

Ash growled low as jealously stabbed at
his bitter heart
;
stealing
a deep breath he felt her emotions run rampant through her. He placed his hand onto her cheek whispering words in a lost language a
s
Sarah turned restlessly towards his voice. Whimpering
softly
, when he took his hand away, she opened her eyes for a moment. Glassy eyes stared at him, her mouth opened slightly in a silent invitation. Wonder caught him off guard
as
he leaned towards her, lightly kissing her. Sarah sighed into his mouth as she tried to deepen the kiss, but Ash pulled away as he raised the covers over her.

Ash held tightly to the lust that wanted to burst free and ravage her, to soak in every ounce of the essence she exuded. He had done that once
already many years ago
the outcome had been horrific to Siobhan. She had learned the truth of her best friend’s dreams. Ash instantly remembered the searing pain he had felt when Siobhan’s heart implod
ed
from the memories.

He had lost her, watching in agony as she died in his arms…the memory of the anguish on her face had torn him in two. The only word she had whispered before her eyes had closed had been “why”. He hadn’t had the answer then, but he had now. He was stronger now; he could turn away from the pull of the chaos that now ran with the hoarfrost through his veins.

Then he had been drunk on the power he held, he thought he was invincible and entitled to everything. The demons oath whispered into his memory that lifetimes and eternity to bring the truth. He backed away from Sarah as she sighed
falling
deeper into sleep.

He entered Jason’s room walk
ing silently
to the bed. He took in the sight before him. Jason was sprawled on top of the covers, shoes still on
,
lightly snoring. He touched Jason’s forehead
lightly,
clos
ing
his eyes as he was woven into Jason’s dream.  Moira stood before him, her lips swollen from a kiss, her eyes bright from the essence she had taken in. He felt Jason’s knee
s
start to give out
before
fe
eling
Ian’s firm grip
holding
him up.

Anger flashed across his face as realized what she had done. She had taken from him; she had broken the rule of not harming them. She could have anyone, but not them. The guilt he had felt for punishing her vanished.

The dream flashed rapidly
again as
he found he was in the pub, he was watching Siobhan through Jason’s eyes as she dr
a
nk from Marcus glass. He watched the pleasure spread across Siobhan’s face. A low groan escap
ing
his lips
as he watched Siobhan slowly lick her lips catching every last drop
. Unable to pull out of the dream he watched as she opened her eyes
looking
at Marcus, Siobhan’s smile was intoxicating.
