Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais prisoner. She whipped out a dagger and held it in front of her. “Don’t make me skewer you.”

He laughed in clear disdain. “Try me, princess. I warned you what would happen when I got free. Now be a good princess. and run. I’m in the mood for a chase.” Tilting her chin up stubbornly, she snorted. “Never.

Prepare to die.”

“What, and kill the future father of your child?” he mocked.

“There are more males where you came from,” she sassed.
Just not as vexing—and tempting, damn him.

Rage enveloped him at her casually tossed words.
How
dare she think to compare me to another?
He drew his own blade to engage her, even if he preferred not to kill her. The revenge he’d planned required her to stay alive. Blocking her thrusts, he waited for his chance. He could grudgingly admit she fought well, her movements fluid and tricky. However, he owned the benefit of size and more strength, not to mention, determination.

Back and forth they parried, the realization that they both held back from striking killing blows not lost on him.

Despite her claim, she couldn’t bring herself to finish him. To 70

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais his confusion, he couldn’t either, but it didn’t mean he’d let her off. Punishment was still definitely in order.

It took longer than expected—and caused him to grudgingly acknowledge her prowess—before fatigue slowed her motions. As if sensing her waning strength, she threw her knife, but their close proximity didn’t give it the momentum needed to do damage. While he swerved to avoid its sharp tip, she took off running.

And Jaro gave chase.

His blood ran hot as he loped after her, her swift flight in bare feet eating up the corridor. However, she couldn’t hope to escape his longer stride, not to mention, he knew this ship like the back of his hand.

But he hadn’t counted on her laying traps.

“Safety measure one B,” she yelled as she approached the cargo bay.

Jaro had no time to wonder at her command because he slammed into an invisible wall.
The minx erected a force field.

Bouncing back, he managed to stay upright, but fury engulfed him as he saw the smirk she tossed him over her shoulder.

And then she disappeared into the bay. The heavy doors slid shut as Jaro barked commands to his ship, which didn’t respond, the frukxing thing apparently under her control. As he yanked a control panel off the wall and fiddled with the electrical components, he felt a vibration run 71

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais through his ship as a vessel docked to it. With a spark that singed his fingers, the force field dissipated, and he ran to the heavy doors and peered through the thick glass in time to see her opening the bay door used for when ships linked together in space.

As if sensing his stare, she stopped and turned. Their eyes met and despite his ire, the beauty of her green eyes made him tremble with a sudden and fierce arousal. A need to possess the vexing female with her beautiful face and curvaceous body washed through him.

Rage quickly overtook his desire as she made a rude gesture that was universally known and with a smile on her lips, disappeared from sight.

Not wasting time, he took off running to his command center, his feet pounding through the corridors, but despite his exertion, he proved too late. He arrived in time to see her vessel pull away from his own, then streak off out of sight.

“Computer, follow that ship!” he yelled.

“Unable to comply,” replied the dulcet tone of his machine. “Foreign materials are attached to the…” Jaro tuned out his computer as she listed the damage from the pirates, and the fact they still remained attached to his hull, preventing him from following. As he repaired the issues one by one, including reversing the takeover of his 72

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais computer, he tried to mentally list the reasons why it was stupid to follow after Aylia.

The important thing is I am free, and she didn’t get what she
set out to steal.

But that meant his devious, red-haired princess once again roamed the galaxy spaceports, looking for a new male to capture and ply her innocent wiles on. Showing off her luscious two breasted curves to new eyes. Touching with rapt fascination another cock. Cheeks flushing, breath panting and channel squeezing as she rode her victim mercilessly in the name of her quest.

Unacceptable. He tried to convince himself that he needed to track her down to save other males from her attempts at rape and theft. But deep down inside, in a small part of himself that he refused to acknowledge, a jealous spark—and an unrequited dose of lust—made him unable to endure the thought of her pleasuring another.
She belongs to me.

He just didn’t know what he intended to do with her when he caught her, although despite his schemes for vengeance, his cock had some pretty good ideas.

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais
Chapter Seven

Aylia rested her chin on her hand as she tried to pretend interest in the males fighting in the cage. She couldn’t help yawning, though, even as the big humanoid in the ring flattened his opponent.

What’s wrong with me?

Since her escape from Jaro’s ship, she’d tried to resume her quest. She’d had no choice once the computer came back with a negative result for pregnancy. Locating another waystation, in an obscure part of the galaxy, she began anew her search for a proper male. Disappointment that her purple warrior hadn’t impregnated her proved hard to shake though.
Apparently, the seed stimulators I fed him after I
disabled his contraceptive capsule weren’t enough.
It seemed that it was too much to hope that she’d succeed in getting pregnant with one mating encounter.

If only those pirates had held off their attack until she’d managed to mount him a few more times. However, she couldn’t change the past, and she knew what her teacher would say if she could see her moping now.

“Stop your crying or I’l give you something to cry about.”
Just thinking about the switch Pantariste used to punctuate her lessons made her wince. Thus, she fought to leave thoughts 74

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais and regrets about Jaro behind—but he still invaded her dreams and she woke often, trembling and heated.

Aylia resumed her quest, but without the enthusiasm of before. She located several suitable male specimens. Two of them held the strength she looked for. The first, with blue skin and a bright white smile like her own appeared decent enough, but he’d gone off station on a pleasure cruise and wouldn’t return for several units. The other, a hulking grey biped, was the reason she found herself at the fight match.

She’d decided to push past her apathy and observe him in person. It changed nothing, though.

A major problem had surfaced since her departure from Jaro; she didn’t want either of the suitable males she’d located. The thought of touching them left her cold, and, in the case of the gray-skinned one, made her queasy. As for them laying their hands on her…she wasn’t sure if she could stop herself from trying to rip the offending appendage off and beat them with it.

But my quest is not about personal preference or pleasure. I
must find the one who wil seed my line, and it’s time I stopped pining
for the purple warrior I lost.
She ignored the nagging voice that reminded her that her tribe sisters and teacher all seemed to find enjoyment in the mating ritual. Alone, and eager to get it done with so she could return home, away from the 75

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais strangeness surrounding her, she didn’t have time to coddle her weak side, or indulge in foolish, feminine fantasies.

Bolstering her resolve, she approached Tukil, the winner of the cage match, as he toasted his success in a smoky tavern. She’d already decided to handle things differently this time. Her failure at taking Jaro by force served as a lesson that off planet, her smaller stature made imposing her will by strength almost impossible, unless she chose to go with a weak male. However, a poor specimen would in turn mean a weak daughter. Pride ever was the downfall of a warrior, and she owned that trait in bulk.

Inhaling deep, and squaring her shoulders, she marched with a firm step and stopped with a flourish before Tukil’s table. She waited, still as a statue, until he noticed her.

When it didn’t immediately happen, she flung the hood of her cloak back, revealing her fiery hair, which she’d noticed few females sported in this part of the galaxy. It garnished her more attention than expected as the entire room went silent.

But she caught her subject’s interest.

“Hello there,” he drawled, his gravelly voice not making her tingle at all like Jaro’s had. “Were you looking for something?” His beady eyes roved her frame, still hidden by her cloak.

“I am in need of a male’s seed to start my line. With your obvious strength, I have decided you will do.” Aylia 76

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais didn’t couch her words in false flattery—actually, she didn’t even imbue them with enthusiasm. She couldn’t because she didn’t feel any.

A chuckled rumbled forth from the grey-skinned humanoid. “I have no wish to be a father.” It took restraint to prevent her eyes from rolling. “I never said you would be. I simply wish your seed. Once I am pregnant, we part ways, never to see each other again.” It sounded cold and clinical even to her. A part of her hoped he would reject her offer.

“Take off your cloak and let me first see what you have hiding under there.”

Having expected this, Aylia had dressed earlier in a revealing outfit worn by Zonians at the feast celebrating successful battles. It consisted of a low-hipped skirt slit up both sides and a tight top that left her midriff bare and plumped up her already opulent breasts.

A hungry glitter entered Tukil’s eyes as he perused her, and he licked his thick lips. “Very nice.” It took great strength of will not to shudder. “So you agree then?”

“It will be my pleasure to plow you as many times as it takes to fill your belly with my babe.” He stood as he said it, his meaty hand reaching out to grab her about the waist and draw her in. When he would have leaned down to kiss 77

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais her, Aylia recoiled, her stomach tight with repugnance.

Despite her personal feelings about the matter though, she would have to do her duty. It was the Zonian way.

“Not here,” she murmured, turning her head so his lips left a sloppy kiss on her cheek instead. “Let us adjourn to my quarters.”

With a raucous laugh, Tukil pulled back and let her lead him through the bar, the patrons of which shouted ribald comments after them that made her cheeks burn with shame.

Perhaps I should have swal owed my pride and chosen the artificial
insemination option. How can there be honor in this?

Her steps slowed as she drew close to the room she’d rented these last few galactic turns. When she finally reached her door, she fought an urge to pull from Tukil’s grasp and escape. That smacked too much of cowardice, though.
But
how can I let this creature touch me?
The answer eluded her.

A press of her palm against the panel and the portal slid open. Tukil roughly pushed her inside and she whirled, anger tightening her frame. Before she could protest, he’d swung her up against the wall, his heavier body pressing against hers. Panicked, she struck out at him, her knee coming up and hitting him.

He grunted and leered down at her. “So you like it rough?” His meaty hand reached up to squeeze her breast, 78

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais and Aylia, try as she might with her own hands, could not dislodge him.

“Stop,” she yelled, the events quickly unraveling out of control.

But the male she’d chosen for his strength did not listen, instead leaning down, his alcohol tinged breath washing over her face, making her gag.

She closed her eyes tight as his lips approached hers, trying to relax in his grip, reminding herself this was what she’d chosen.
I can bear whatever he does
. Brave words that did nothing to quell the fear inside at finding herself in the unfamiliar role of victim.

Instead of the slobbery touch of Tukil’s mouth, a familiar voice, cold with fury, spoke.

“Let go of her.” To her ever growing shame, relief and, yes, even happiness, flooded her.

Tukil spun from her, and Aylia opened her eyes to see Jaro—looking more splendid than she recalled—leaning against a wall nonchalantly.

“Who are you?” Tukil growled, his fists clenched at his sides.

“None of your frukxing business. The only thing you need to know is the female is mine. So leave now before I kill you.”

79

Intentional Abduction – Eve Langlais A rumble shook the hulking grey humanoid. “I’d say you’re wrong on two counts. First, no one beats me in a fight.

Second, the female chose me, and I intend to have her.” Jaro didn’t pull out any weapons, but the way he straightened, his eyes glittering with a wild light, made him look so utterly dangerous that Aylia couldn’t help the flicker of heat between her legs. It seemed where her body was concerned, only one male would do—
and that suits me just fine.

“The female is mine,” Jaro reiterated, and Aylia’s heart beat faster at his claim.

But she couldn’t let her emotions cloud her judgment.

“You don’t want me, or have you forgotten I had to force you,” she reminded him softly as the two males engaged in a staring match.

A snarl curled Jaro’s lip as he shot her a heated look.

“Who said I want you now?” For some reason, his words created a pang in her heart. “I told you when I got free, I would have my revenge.”

So that’s why he’s returned. Not because he missed me, or
wanted me. For revenge.
Her respect for him as a warrior rose a notch, but her heart plummeted even further. Before Aylia could say anything in reply, Tukil charged Jaro—and died.
