King Solomon's Journey (The Dominguez Adventures) (10 page)

No doubt, he was the one man she could share her love with, and the intensity she felt was imperative. Her eyes became glass windows, and moisture built inside them as her body trembled.

Antonio silently cursed himself for a fool.  He should have waited longer to do that. Hell, she would have done it herself anyway. She was finally warming up to him, and pissed-off, the anger came from his callousness, but grew from his urgency.

How in the hell would he handle her now? He committed the ultimate faux pas for someone with her personality. Damn it...he questioned her Divine integrity, probably the innermost aspect of her being.

He didn’t approach her, now was not the time to enter her space.

“Amanda, I didn’t mean to insult any part of you, especially those you hold so sacred. Please, understand there’s no excuse for how I handled the situation. It was selfish. I was selfish, but I know what I encountered that day and I want to understand it. I know you can help me. I have a strange feeling that you’re the only one with the ability to make me understand.

But, even more importantly, I liked what I felt. No, I loved it. Having never felt anything similar, I long to feel it again, and I know that I must. It wasn’t sexual, well, certainly not like I know sex to be. This was so much greater, more satisfying, and more erotic than the best sex any man had ever dreamed. Engulfing me, it made me into something more as it completed my person.

You completed me…  I was anxious, and insensitive. I’m sorry I behaved like that, and even more distraught that I made you feel this way.”

Keeping her back to him, she continued to gaze out the window towards the now-intense snowfall. She wanted to go to him. He was truthful with her. Knowing his substantial pain, she understood his struggle, but why did she feel paralyzed?

The colossal intensity emanated from both of them, with neither knowing how to harness, nor manage the megalithic presence of energy that made their every movement seem so incredibly inadequate.

Without turning to face him, she spoke softly from her heart.

“Not consciously, but on some level, I am not being completely honest with you. I am looking for answers through you, or from you. Neither are what I pretend, or believe them to be, and that is the greatest wrong. I did not realize I misrepresented myself, I am the fraud.”

Wow. Antonio gave his forehead a symbolic slap as they continued to journey into unexpected places.

“Amanda, the route is no longer important. Ask me the questions you need answered. Tell me what you need help finding, especially if you know it exists inside me. You’re not a fraud. The idea you even feel that way nauseates me.” Antonio moved closer to her. Should he touch her? He didn’t know.

Amanda now understood that Antonio only held a small piece of the puzzle, and had no idea how far it stretched.

"The Divine, at no time, removes our free will. The Divine, under no circumstances, completely reveals the right choice.” Gaining momentum, she continued steadily.

“You saw through the Divine Weave of fabric." She softly quoted; "
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

            "
It is always there if we want to see it. I will show you it exists, and that it is measurable. Between these energies are the potential to support your experience. What is hard for me to understand is the effect my choice has on others. I have my own issues. Whatever potential is revealed to you does not erase those issues. Antonio, life does not afford us ultimate ends without difficult journeys. You were given a glimpse of a splendid possibility. Journeys are complex, filled with tests, trials, components, and initiations.” She paused as the air left her chest.

“You are beautiful, kind, stimulating, and passionate. I could easily love you, but none of those traits are the answers I need right now.” She stared back out the window.

His hand wrapped around her arm, just above the elbow, and he pleaded.

“Please, look at me Amanda. I want to answer you, let me see you.”

Tears streaked mascara down her face as she turned to face him. Wiping them away with his fingertips, he placed her tears against his lips.

Amanda’s eyes closed. Reopening them, she thought she had the answer.

Chapter 10

“We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving. And we all have some power to make wishes come true, as long as we believe.”

Louisa May Alcott

Antonio led her back to the sofa, and filled their glasses once more. Letting herself relax, she leaned against his upper body. One of his arms circled behind her, and she felt no threat or panic. From the cocoon of that safe harbor, she continued.

“I call it the Divine Weave, because I understand it is comparable to a piece of natural fiber. The threads are weaved together, like a piece of cotton, and little-to-no room exists between the strands. The design is similar to high-quality Egyptian cotton sheets with a high thread count. Within the weave, there is a common goal, similar to nice, comfortable sheets.

The Divine Weave is a series of tightly woven threads, which weave in-and-out, under-and-over, until it creates a piece of fabric. It exists everywhere. There is no ‘nothingness’, because the fabric exists in the ‘nothingness’. It exists in the cosmos and on Earth, ubiquitously.

The Weave is the quintessential element of any manifestation. Everything connects within the weave, as everything affects the weave. Continually influencing everything, the weave is a blueprint. It is a mirror, a communication device.

Now that you are confused, in order for you to understand your own experience, you must keep a couple of things in mind. Time does not exist. Acting as a necessary illusion, it only serves a purpose on Earth. You must also understand everything has content. Thoughts, sounds, lights, and everything else, all have substance. Every possibility, and every outcome, is existent within the weave.

This Divine Weave, as I call it, has many names. The most common terms are Collective Consciousness, the Quantum Matrix, the Divine Matrix, the Golden River, and the Golden Threads.

Everything ripples through the threads of the fabric - communicating, manifesting, and contributing to the constantly changing face of the fabric. There are no secrets. Nothing exists without first entering the weave. Many experts claim that every now and then, God adds fresh possibilities within the weave.

As newborn promises from God arise, we have to connect with the fabric to receive these new ideas, concepts, and experiences. They are sort of ‘downloaded’ to us.”

She paused as Antonio hooked his arm around her with the bottle of wine, and gave her a drink.

“I get the impression that you have a fondness for Egyptian cotton sheets,” he laughed.

“The higher the thread count, the happier I am. Egyptian cotton sheets are one of the subtle luxuries I love.”

            “I’ll remember that,” he teased.

“I know I sound long-winded, but I have a feeling this weave holds many properties important to The Scrolls' Legacy.”

“I appreciate your thoroughness, and I agree. We should arm ourselves with as much knowledge as possible.”

Then knowledge flowed from her lips.

“Some people believe it is the Akashi Records, or Lambs Book of Life, referred to in The Bible. Our entire life history is recording within these threads. Many believe the holographic nature is synonymous with Jesus’ reference to, ‘My Father’s house has many mansions.’

Princeton University measures the Weave’s activity. They have placed egg-shaped receivers in strategic places all over the world, monitoring the activity of the Collective Consciousness. They even have a real-time visual on the web that anyone can monitor, at any time.

They also keep a database of key dates. For example, the graphs spiked during the 9/11 attacks. Quantum Physics can now measure other components of this field. My understanding is that through Quantum physics we can verify tiny particle influences, and matter left by thoughts."

Amanda raised her head to get a glimpse of Antonio. Once again, she felt a flutter flow through her body." Now, if you are not bored, I think I will offer two possibilities for your recent experience.”

Truthfully, Antonio was unprepared for this explanation, and speechless. His expectations of her were of more spiritual and magical influences, not of science. Instead, he found grand scientific reasoning, with only slight influences of mysticism.

“I’m anxious to hear your theories. Nevertheless, I have a confession. You’re surprising me. I anticipated magic. You’re not nearly as mystical as I’d alleged, in fact, you are quite intellectual.”

            “Do I disappoint you, Antonio?”

“No, not in the least, instead, you fascinate me.”

“Did you think I would perform hocus-pocus, or cast a spell on you? You will soon learn, Dr. Dominguez, you are misguided about mysticism.”

“Yes, when I initially caught sight of the living you, I thought of you as an Enchantress, casting spells. Part of that is apparently true, as you do have me under quite a spell. As for my mystical understanding, something tells me that you’ll make sure I understand.”

She reached for one of his hands, and held it between both of her hands.

“Often times we see, or communicate, in a direct way with the Divine Weave. Some people experience it naturally, easier than others can. Some of these people are like human antennas. Others have brain regions that function in a way that allows them to access it habitually. Sometimes these are inborn traits. Other times, it is a result of injury.

There are other anomalies, and circumstances, that are possible. Altered states allow people access through meditation, trance, prayer, music, or even some drugs. People with seizure disorders often connect with the fiber. A loss of consciousness, similar to the one you suffered, could have provided an open window. Many people enter the weave during sleep, or dreams. This is a possibility in your case.

You accessed information where a strong emotional tie encompassed you. Since you were unconscious when this happened, Hidden Mountain may also hold an anomaly. You said it was an inactive volcano. I have not visited, but I guess a possible alteration of energy in the area could exist. This may result from a concentration of certain elements.

It may also hold magnetic or electrical anomalies - cracks that open up into the weave. Those are possibilities that allow your psyche to obtain the experience.

The other possibility is brief, and to you, may be too esoteric. The Divine Weave spoke to you directly because it needed to contact you. They need you for a greater purpose.

One more thing…We all have the ability to communicate, reach, and read the Weave. We are also able to communicate, reach, and read each other through the Weave.

Antonio, what you felt while you were unconscious, did it feel intense during the connection? Following, did you have a memory of what you felt?”

“Good question. The simple answer is yes, but, what I felt when I gained consciousness… it was more than a memory. It wasn’t as intense as the actual hallucination, but calling it a memory would be an injustice.”

“Do you have a sense that you made the initiation, or that you were purposely contacted?”

“I possess a vivid understanding of something contacting me.”

“Did you have a sense of who originated the contact? Was it I? Was it The Divine trying to show you something?”

He had to think. “I don’t know who, but I didn’t feel you were the initiator.

Amanda also knew it might have been the point of manifestation. Should she bring that up now, or in the future? She decided later would better. It was necessary for him to digest the information first.

“Let’s go look out at the snow.” Coaxing him, she took his hand and led him to the large window, where they gazed upon the blizzard’s conditions.

“I should have driven my truck.”

“I am not sure what you should have driven, time will tell,” she grinned. He knew what she meant. They stood together, and watched the winter fury for a few moments.

“At least you thought to stop at the food market on the way up here.”

“True, you would’ve been forced to eat non-organic resort food.”

“I would have a hard time doing that.”

He knew this was more than a flower-child attitude. “Amanda, I’m starving now, and we have no worries. We’ve got plenty of food, especially yogurt and almonds.”

She smiled as they walked to the kitchen. “Antonio, I practically live on organic yogurt and almonds. You are not really an organic are you?” She finally saw through the act.

His sexy grin made her melt.

“I’m busted, blame me for wanting you. I try to eat healthy, does that count?”

Returning his grin, she told him, “I loved having dinner with you too much to complain.”

“I’m not sure I could exist on yogurt and almonds, but I’d love to share lots of food with you.”

Earlier, they bought a variety of finger snacks for the evening. Amanda turned on some music. She thought it would be a nice addition.

Antonio was tossing thin chips into his mouth, and on impulse held one up for Amanda to eat.     “That’s a Cuban favorite.”
