Love, But Never (12 page)

The construction!
’ she started to get more excited as she remembered John’s suggestion from the night before.

John.  Marissa’s heart fell.

What about John?  I told him not to worry about my experience.  I told him that I wasn’t ready to have sex again.  How am I going to tell him about Aaron?’

Stepping outside to wait for Aaron, she truly questioned herself for the first time.

He’s still hung up on Ellen.  He’s just messing around with me.  It won’t bother John,’
she rationalized as she saw a 1980’s model Buick turn onto the street.  It slowed slightly in front of her house, before starting off again.

‘Maybe that wasn’t him’,
she thought, standing up on the blanket she’d spread on the grass in front of her house.

As she stood, the car turned around at the end of the street and stopped behind her own newer model Chevy S-10.  Her heart began to beat out of her chest.  Marissa blushed when Aaron stepped out of the car. His black hair was slightly disheveled and his dark eyes showed a glint of anticipation.  He looked like he was ready for bed when he decided he wanted her tonight.

"Don't make fun of my car," he said, staring at her.

"I wasn't going to," Marissa chuckled.

"So, where are we going?" he grinned.

“You’ll see,” her lips curled into a sly smile as she picked up the blanket and led him through her housing development.

“So, how are you home already?” Aaron asked as they crossed through a wash down the street from John’s house.

“It’s a long story…but I’m unhealthy right now, and they can’t have that,” she explained.

“I’m sorry- are you feeling any better now that you are home?” She felt his hand caress her between her shoulder blades.  It felt so good; she had to fight the moan that was bubbling in her throat.

“Yes and no,” she frowned at the thought of living with her parents again, “but that’s a long story, too.” She gave him a soft smile as they found their way to the northern part of her housing development.

“Now that you are home, I hope we can really be friends.  I’d love that,” Aaron stopped so he could look deep into Marissa’s eyes, but she couldn’t read the emotion they were conveying.  She’d never seen it before.

“Of course we can be friends, I thought we already were,” she dismissed, chuckling.

Finally, they arrived at the perfect house; it was framed and had stucco, but none of the windows or doors, private, but accessible.

“Here we are,” she turned to Aaron, trying to hide the nerves that were beginning to surface.

“Pick a room,” he told her.  Marissa considered each room before deciding on one right off the would-be garage.

“This will provide us with the most privacy.  Don’t you think?” she turned to ask him.

“You are so cute when you are nervous.  We don’t have to do this if you don’t want,” he offered, as she settled the blanket against the concrete floor.

“I do want to do this,” Marissa smiled.  This confirmation was all Aaron needed.  He kissed her softly on the lips. The second his lips touched hers, Marissa felt something change inside her.  It radiated from her heart down through her body and her pulse quickened.  The remainder of her control had returned to her and she felt like she was in charge of her destiny again.  She wished she could bottle this feeling instead of having to seek it out so destructively.

“I’m not a doll,” she told him, before he engulfed her with animalistic desire.  He pushed her into the south wall of the bedroom as they undressed each other.  He untied the top of her dress and the straps unraveled, letting her dress fall to her waist and exposing her breasts to the warm night air.  She grabbed his belt and coaxed it open, his shorts crumpled to the concrete floor before he stepped out of them.
‘Remember, Marissa, love, but never…FUCK! What is this? I can’t catch my breath.’
She thought, gasping for air as she looked to the ceiling while his lips explored her neck.

“God!  You are beautiful,” he groaned as his hands began to pull at her nipples that were standing at attention, in spite of the heat of the Arizona summer.  She brought her hand down his body, before beginning to stroke him through his boxers. He gasped into her mouth, before redoubling his efforts and kissing her with more force than she’d ever experienced.

‘I never knew it could feel like this
,’ she thought, as she surrendered to kiss after kiss and welcomed the electricity that shot through her with every touch, trying to forget about what John might think if he knew how Aaron was making her feel right now.  His kisses made her head swim and her legs began to wobble.  This prompted Aaron to help her onto the blanket she’d spread over the floor, before leaving a trail of kisses from her neck down her naked body to the tops of her breasts.  Then, he slowed down, taking his time, making sure he found nearly every button she had.  She arched her back into his hands and mouth with frustration. His hands started to trail south, reaching the apex of her thighs, Marissa jumped and grabbed his hand.

“Don’t,” she warned.

“Why?” he looked at her, curiously.

“I just don’t like to be touched there,” she shrugged.

“I’m going to have to touch you there with part of me,” he laughed.

“That doesn’t bother me, just…no fingers, no mouth, okay?” she said, trying to control her shaking.

“Okay,” he said, confused.

“Good, cause I have just the thing to distract you,” Marissa smiled, lasciviously.

Marissa moved from underneath him and pushed him down to the blanket. Kneeling beside him, she started to kiss down his throat and over his chest.  She continued to move south until she found what she was looking for; she peeled his boxers down his legs, and grabbed him tentatively with her hand.

‘This I can do!’

She brought her mouth down to his tip and licked him lightly, staring into his eyes. His eyes darken, filled with desire for her, driving her to pull all of him into her mouth and suck.  She moved up and down, setting a rhythm with her mouth and her hand.  She heard him groan and she smiled up at him.

“Holy shit! That’s amazing.  You weren’t overselling your talents, I think you were underselling them,” he whispered.

Suddenly, she felt him start to twitch in her mouth and a guttural moan came from his throat; she continued to move until he was still.  She stared up at him with all the innocence she could muster, and then smiled, devilishly, before licking her lips.

“Fuck!” he exclaimed in a whisper, “Now, let’s see what we can do for you.”

Bringing her mouth back to his, he kissed her and moved her back toward the blanket.  She started to feel his erection grow again, as he moved between her legs.  He brought himself down to her, both moaning into their kisses as he reached his target.

“Is this what you wanted?” he asked her as he pushed into her.

“I’m here, aren’t I?” she responded.  They began to speed their rhythm lifting her higher and higher, but just as she was about to crash back to Earth, Aaron moved away from her and pulled her to her feet. Marissa whimpered.
‘Such a tease!’

“I need a break,” he started, “but we are far from done.” He put his hands through her hair and kissed her in a way that sent shockwaves through her body.

Together, they got dressed and walked to the back patio of the house.

“It’s actually a nice night, not too hot,” Aaron said, looking out at the empty lot behind the house.

“You’re right, we aren’t dripping with sweat.”

“Not yet,” he grinned at her, with more confidence than he initially showed.

“So what’s up with Willa?” she asked him.

“What about her?  She’s my girlfriend.  I don’t know; she’s pretty great,” he said, giving Marissa a guilty look.

“So you just wanted to be with me?”

“Yeah, I guess it’s a test I failed, but I could really see marrying her one day,” he gave Marissa a look of desire that confused her.

“Okay.  I hope she doesn’t know where you are tonight then.”

“You rested enough?” he asked, crossing the patio and grabbing her hand.

“Absolutely,” Marissa smiled and followed him back in the house.

Returning to the bedroom, Aaron’s hands encircled her waist from behind and travelled upwards toward her breasts.  She inhaled his scent, a mixture of fabric softener, body wash and their sex, and committed it to her memory.  There was something deliciously sexy about the smell of their arousal in the hot summer air.  His fingers tore at the fabric of her dress as if they ached to touch her naked skin.  They found their way back to the floor, peeling their clothes away much more quickly this time and started their dance again.  She felt the quickening down in the base of her stomach again and her legs started to shake.
‘Holy shit, what is this? What is happening to me?  I feel like I’ve been drugged!’

He started to move harder and faster, knowing she was close. Her muffled screams seemed to shatter the silence of the summer night.  Marissa was appreciative they were in a neighborhood with no occupied houses.
‘FUCK! What was that? It was incredible!’
She thought, her eyes wide as he nipped at her neck and her body continued to convulse around Aaron’s.  It wasn’t long before he began to moan obscenities again.

“Oh my God, Marissa,” he breathed, his face in her hair, “That was incredible.” He moved out of her and stood up to get dressed. “Was I, at least, decent?”  His earlier shyness made a return appearance as he helped her off the blanket.

Marissa chuckled before she said, “Aaron, before tonight, I’ve never been even remotely close to orgasm.” She wanted to tell him that she never knew sex could be so intoxicating and that she didn’t want to go quite yet, but she couldn’t find the words.

“Oh!” Aaron smiled, “Let’s get you back home,” he said and a tingle of disappointment shot through Marissa as she put her dress back on.

“Alright,” she said, laughing again.

“But you really had one?” he said with a timid look on his face.

“Oh yeah, my legs feel like jelly and my pulse is racing.”

“Good.  I’m glad I could help you,” he grinned a full toothed smile that stretched from ear to ear.

Once Marissa and Aaron passed through the doors onto the street again, he grabbed her hand and laced his fingers through hers.  They went back to awkward conversation until they got back to her house.  Aaron leaned over to kiss Marissa goodbye.

“Email me tomorrow.  Sweet dreams,” he said, before getting into his car and driving away.  It was as if he hadn’t actually been there, but Marissa’s heart hadn’t slowed yet and her lips were still swollen from his kisses.  She knew she hadn’t imagined anything.

Suddenly, she was scared of her reactions to Aaron; she knew she was feeling desire and attraction.  She had to protect herself so she wouldn’t get hurt.  Marissa knew that if she ever wanted to spend time with Aaron again, she couldn’t let him any deeper.  It could only ever be just sex with Aaron.

I, actually, woke up early and refreshed. I wonder why that is?... Hmmm. I had a wonderful time with you last night, but I am feeling guilty. I don’t know if I’m feeling guilty because I should feel guilty or because I actually do. Either way, I
still
have no regrets. What about you?
