“Now I see why she didn’t call,” Ansley said, clearly pouting.

“I guess she didn’t have time,” Patience added, frowning.

Kimberly glanced at Trixie, who looked thoroughly amused. “I’ve been a little busy.”

“It’s been three damned months,” Ansley bit out. “The honeymoon should be over by now.”

“Who’s getting married?” Kimberly asked. “Certainly not me.”

“Famous last words, chickadee,” Ansley bit out.

Trixie flung herself to the bed and crossed one leg over the other as she studied the furniture. “Don’t pay any attention to her. She’s missed you. Can’t you tell?”

Ansley snorted at that and joined Patience to check out the spanking table. “So you just play all day?”

“Pretty much, yeah.”

Trixie shot her a knowing glance.

“And what do they do exactly?”

Kimberly shrugged. “Who knows and who cares. It’s not my place to ask questions.”

“What do you mean it’s not your place?”

Patience shot her a look of understanding then.

“I’m living my life as I see fit, Ansley. I’m happy. I’m having the best time of my life.”

“Clearly,” Ansley grumbled.

“And it isn’t right for you or anyone else to come in and judge me.”

“I’m not judging,” Patience assured her. “I’m jealous.”

Ansley marched to the hearth. “Why, pray tell, would you be envious of whips and chains?”

“Hello, Ansley,” Wyatt said, entering the room with Sebastian on his heels. He nodded at the others. “Ladies.”

Sebastian said his hellos as well then slipped his arm around Kimberly’s waist. “Don’t knock the erotic spankings until you’ve had one.”

“I have thank you very much,” Ansley bit out.

“Then you shouldn’t turn up your nose at our collection of tools,” Wyatt pointed out.

Ansley glared at Trixie as if she were willing her to say something. When she didn’t, Ansley stood taller and said, “Kimberly, you have to move back to Fletcher.”

“I can’t.”

“Why not?” Ansley demanded.

She took a deep breath and looked at Wyatt, who immediately came to her defense. “She’s happy here.”

“I didn’t ask you,” Ansley said.

“Well I’m responding for your sister.”

“She can speak for herself.”

“I’d rather speak for her,” Wyatt said.

Sebastian smirked. “We like to keep things simple for Kimberly.”

“I do, too,” Ansley said, defiant as ever. “And she is needed back in Fletcher, so she’ll just leave with us.”

Patience shook her head. “I’m starving. I think I’ll go downstairs and have a slice of pizza.”

“Me, too,” Trixie said, following her. “Nice digs around here though, guys. I plan to come back after supper and take a few snapshots. Brock, Mitch, and Rory need to man up and build a playroom, too.”

“This is their freakin’ bedroom, Trixie,” Ansley grated out. “Do you not see that as a problem?”

“No, Ansley, I don’t,” Trixie replied, leaving the room.

“We’ll talk downstairs,” Ansley said, shifting her gaze between Wyatt, Sebastian, and Kimberly.

“Yes we will,” Wyatt said, now deviling her with purpose.

Once she exited the room, the three burst into laughter.

“She’s impossible,” Sebastian said.

“I warned you.”

Wyatt winked. “I’ll handle Ansley.”

Kimberly sashayed across the room. “Now you see why I wanted you to control every single aspect of my life. I’m stress-free and the two of you are stuck explaining to my sister why I don’t want to move back to Fletcher.”

“Why is that again?” Sebastian teased, pinching her ass.

“Because I’m in love, Sir. And better still, I’m finally loved in return.”
