She sat up and watched the rolling waves meet the azure sky, lovely and huge, like a full-scale painting. She was wasting precious moments. Pieces of time she’d never get back…she could die tomorrow and never know what it would be like in Blade’s arms, in his bed with him buried deep inside her. Moisture gathered between her thighs and her nipples tightened against her tiny bikini top.

Lacinda lay back against the chair and closed her eyes. She wanted Blade. If this had been a game for him, he could have taken advantage of her at any time, but he hadn’t. He honored her wish and left her alone.

The patio door opened. He hadn’t disturbed her for the past four days. Lacinda sat up and looked.

Mazie. So, Blade did call her. Tears bled into Lacinda’s eyes.

“Hey, kiddo, sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you.” She walked over and plopped down on the edge of Lacinda’s chair, reaching over for a big hug. “I truly thought the two of you would hit it off. You’re a lot alike in so many ways. I knew Blade had found his match in you.” Mazie pushed back and stared. “Hey, what’s going on?” She wiped a thumb across Lacinda’s cheek, capturing a lost tear.

“He called you to pick me up.” Lacinda spoke the words, not as a question, but with unveiling hurt.

“Isn’t that what you wanted? He said the two of you hadn’t spoken to each other in days.”

“I broke him. When I found out who the two of you were, it felt like I’d been played. What the hell did I expect on a cruise made for singles with the kind of questions I answered for your contest?”

“Honey, you know Blade had nothing to do with this cruise thing. I made him sit down and go over all the female applicants. He didn’t want anything to do with it, but I made him participate in the selection process. This was my attempt at finding him happiness before he grew into a lonely old man. I hoped he’d find a lifetime someone.” Mazie pulled Lacinda into her arms. Fresh tears trekked downward, jumping off Lacinda’s chin.

“God, what have I done?”

“You’ve done nothing wrong. I didn’t consider you wouldn’t like Blade.”

“But I do. Mazie, how can I fix this?” Lacinda pulled away. “Was Blade staying here after I leave?”

“Yea, in fact, he said he’d be staying a few months.”

“I know you had the ship turn around from wherever you were cruising, but would you be upset if I chose to stay?”

Mazie looked at Lucinda for a moment, and then a huge smile crossed Mazie’s face. Her expression became thoughtful, like she birthed an idea, and she nodded her head.

“I’ve got another plan.”

“No tricks. No lies. No manipulations.” Lucinda had enough of those.

“I’ll tell Blade we’re leaving. The ship and everyone on it
will
leave…but, you’ll still be here when he finally peels himself from his office.” Mazie leaned back in for a hug. “Let yourself go, girl, enjoy a man who I know has been enjoying everything about you. He was so upset with me when he learned about the natural aphrodisiac I used.” Mazie got a serious look, and then added, “Please don’t hurt him, Lacinda. I think he’s in love with you.”

* * * *

After Mazie left, Lacinda undressed, tossing her bikini under the chair. She pulled the chair around, faced it toward the patio door, and then lay back, closing her eyes. A smile stretched across her lips as she imagined Blade’s reaction. Her body sank back, relaxing in the lull of the sun and surf. Minutes after Mazie departed, the patio door opened.

Blade gasped.

Lacinda opened her eyes. His midnight blues melded with her gaze and melted into her heart. She made a new game plan as he walked over.

“What if the girl you’re with isn’t spiked?” she asked. “And what if she can’t stop thinking about you?”

Blade swept her up into his arms and then settled back on the chair with Lacinda straddled across his lap facing him. Her breasts pressed into his chest and the hard lump in his pants nestled nicely between her folds. Blade’s lips claimed hers. His tongue parting, exploring, leaving her breathless.

Blade spoke in whispers through his kiss, “I’ve missed you deeply, wildly, truly. What if we could stay here as long as you wanted?”

Lacinda sucked Blade’s tongue through her lips, while unbuttoning his shirt and pulling it off his shoulders. His palms glided down from her lower back. Each hand cupped a butt cheek and his fingers tucked into her moist crevice.

She moaned into his mouth. “What if she’s ready for a solid relationship?” Lacinda unsnapped and unzipped Blade’s pants. He lifted himself with her in his arms. She left his lips and concentrated on yanking his pants down. His pants finally dropped. He sat back on the chair and kicked them off.

Lacinda’s fingers wrapped around his erection and she lowered her head, kissing his beaded nipples. Blade growled deep, and Lucinda’s lips detected its vibration through his chest. She kissed his neck. He lifted her hips and she guided the tip of his erection to her center.

“Are you sure about this?” Blade whispered. Lacinda impaled herself in one smooth motion, her breath releasing when he completely filled her.

She pulled his head lower and softly spoke next to his ear, “Never more sure.”

“Oh God, Lacinda,” Blade gasped. He maneuvered their bodies so he lay on the lounger with Lacinda straddling his hips.

She lifted and lowered herself again, each time her passage stretched around him she wanted to scream his name. Blade pulled her upper body across his chest. His thumbs massaged her nipples into taut pearls, creating mini shock waves that drove through her with the force of a race car. Blade, inside her, his body trembling under her fingers, consumed her with passion only for him.

Lacinda arched toward his ravenous fingers all the while her hips rocked in a matching rhythm. The pressure between them built into a crescendo, her nipples blazed in sensitivity, her clit on fire, she wanted to swallow him inside her forever.

She reached behind, slipping her hand between her legs, and cupped Blade’s testicles. His hips rose into her and stopped. They hung suspended, only their hearts beat in unison, seeking the gathering tidal wave. She squeezed him gently. Blade growled and plunged deeper.

He rolled Lacinda onto her back and pushed her legs up so her knees were at his shoulders. Blade drew himself out slowly and teased the rim of her center. He pressed his thumb against her swollen clit and rolled it around.

Every nerve inside Lacinda ignited, tingling and throwing tiny explosions. Her hips met his as he thrust into her over and over, building a precipice that held her captive, suspended, tilting, and then surging forward into streams of pure ecstasy.

Blade’s body stiffened and rocked against her. He unloaded, convulsing inside her.

She held her hand over her mouth. A rush of voice tumbled from her lips in rhythm to the passion streaming through her body. It was something else she’d never experienced, giving sound to her deep pleasure. She squeezed her eyes shut until little strobes of light blinked behind her lids. Blade drew her hand away from her lips and kissed them. She opened her eyes and broke away from his kiss.

“What?” He leaned back, pulling himself out of her body.

She grabbed his hips and pushed herself into him. “No, don’t. Stay there, please.”

He stopped and lowered, relaxing over her. Lacinda could feel him inside her, still thick and hot. She loved him there. His moist hot skin torched hers, and she loved that, too. Her hands rubbed over his sculpted butt cheeks, and his muscles flexed beneath her fingers.

“What if I stayed for a while longer?” Lacinda whispered.

Blade chuckled next to her ear, his hips gentled into hers. His breath against her skin sending wispy tingles down her spine. His lips grazed across her cheek and hovered above her mouth.

“I’d say, we have forever if you want it, love,” he whispered against her lips and kissed her. And she kissed him back, wildly and with abandon.

Big Girls Don’t Cry Wolf

A Paranormal Erotic Romance

After the tragic loss of her twin sister, Brea works hard to prove herself worthy of her adoptive parent’s extra attention. She focuses on the success of the rustic resort her parents deeded to her.

Priorities change when sexy twin wolves in human form walk into Brea’s life.

A dangerous rogue abducts her, but whom, if anyone, comes to her rescue?

Except:

Brea’s belly warmed and rolled into a major flip flop. Everything faded around her with the exception of the man in front of her. His eyes looked like gray slate in the strong sunlight, and he’d caught her staring. Those slates locked on to her, sending a bolt of electric sparks weaving through her insides. Her whole body tingled in a way she’d never experienced before.

“Damn it Blake, watch that thing,” his deep voice rumbled through the store.

His attention wavered, the connection shattered. Brea sucked in air like she’d just broke surface from a deep dive into a watery abyss. She physically took a step back to look at him, the energy in the air still heavy with the static strings that moments earlier connected them.

His fingers combed through the front of his hair, pulling it backward, but the dark curls bounced back over his brow, wild, unruly.

Brea couldn’t quite see behind Slate Eyes to know with whom he spoke, maybe a child. His bold language seemed a bit much for the likes of a child. He approached the counter where Brea stood. She swore the temperature rose about twenty degrees, even though a shiver spiked down her spine raising goose bumps over her skin.
