Thanks

I wrote
Operation Heartbreaker
after I had written the Blanche trilogy, an urban fantasy series, released by my German publisher Sieben Verlag under the alias Jane Christo. After a hard-core female contract killer, who kicked ass before breakfast, I needed girls like Ally and Julie. Heroines who might not always have it easy, but who never lose their sense of humor over that. At the same time this book is a thank you to my fans, all the bloggers and reviewers, who have accompanied me since my first book.

I had tremendous fun writing this novel, and if you have made it this far, I hope you like the story, too.

Without the support of my family, I would’ve have come this far, so I would like to thank my sweetheart, who thankfully doesn’t mind that much if lunch is cancelled or takes place at dinner time. I love you, hon!

A special thanks goes to my second family in Seattle, Melissa, Ginger, Michelle, Don, Dolores, Tom and my friends at the Redmond High School. Thank you so much for your support, encouragement and proofreading. I love you guys!

I also like to thank my friends and beta readers, first and foremost Julia and Karin as well as Happy-End-Magazine (Happy-End-Buecher.de). Thank you so much for your spontaneous support, you are awesome!

Many thanks also to the readers and reviewers of Lovelybooks as well as Buechereule. I am also thankful to Andrea, Ansgar, Petra, Bine, Jule, Katja, Mella and my genius proofreader, Christine Hochberger (buchreif.de). There was never any copy-editing this much fun, seriously!

A big thank you also goes out to Kerstin Kellis (englisch-etc.de) for the uncomplicated cooperation, and that she got involved with Ally and
Operation Heartbreaker
!

I also owe a special thank you to my biggest hero of all, Jan aka Insomnia, the man whom I can call around the clock if Word once again does funny things with paragraphs, page breaks and fonts. Who at eleven o’clock at night gets my hard drive working again after I, well, erased it. Jan, I am awarding you the silver laurel leaf and the laurel silver spoon, whichever one you want. You are the best!

I would also like to thank Helen and Kerstin from audiocolours publishing. I was extremely happy about the unpretentious cooperation. Kerstin has given Ally & Co. her voice and timed the publishing date in a way so the audio book got published parallel to the e-book.

A big thank you goes to my online community on Facebook & Twitter (@AutorJC_Thomas) as well as the blogger community. Thank you for your great support, your ideas and suggestions! I am thrilled about the lively interest and wouldn’t want to do without the animated discussions anymore.

I also love the exchange via my blog or Facebook:
