Paper Kisses (15 page)

When the tractor came to a stop, Alannah’s thoughts were as muddy as ever.

She was the first one to dismount and began
wandering through the crowd, making her way to the kissing booth.

She watched both
CeeCee
and Kevin for a few minutes, seeing how they not only dealt with customers but
with each other.

They were so relaxed
with each other and it was something that had developed over time.

Once upon a time she’d felt the same with Sky,
and it made her sad to think she may have lost that.

“Hey, girl!”
CeeCee
called out and Alannah realized she’d been
spotted.

“Where’s Sky?”

Alannah shrugged as she walked over
to the booth.

Luckily, no one was
waiting for a kiss.

“I left him back at
McCrinny’s
farmhouse.”

“Oh, I see,”
CeeCee
said.

“No, actually, I don’t see at
all.

You left here all happy and smiles
and you return looking like you lost your best friend.”

All the air expelled from her lungs
in a rush and Alannah felt light headed.

“I think I might have,” she whispered.

CeeCee
exited the booth and came around to enfold her in a comforting hug.

“What happened?”

“I don’t know,” Alannah replied,
sniffing.

“Things were going great and
then…some things happened, and now everything is so confusing.”

“What did he say?”

“He expects me to leave in a few
days.”

“He said that?”
CeeCee
asked, surprised.

Two young women walked up to the
kissing booth, giggling, and she and
CeeCee
watched
as the women each handed over a dollar.

Kevin, being his cute flirty self, took each dollar, leaned over and
kissed each girl chastely on the lips.

Alannah looked over at
CeeCee
to gage her
reaction, but as soon as Kevin was done with the two women he looked over at
them and gave a wink.

It dawned on her
that
CeeCee
trusted Kevin, like, actually trusted
him.

Would she be able
to trust Sky if it was him behind that booth?

She didn’t know because once upon a time
she’d have thought she could trust Bryce but he’d found her replacement in two
weeks.

At that moment a man walked up,
looking around confused.

“You have a client,” Alannah
murmured.

“Go pull in those donations.”

“He can wait,”
CeeCee
said.

And then, much to their surprise,
he handed Kevin a dollar and Kevin leaned over and kissed the man on the
mouth.

When they pulled apart, the man
flushed but walked away with a silly grin on his face.

“Huh,”
CeeCee
said.

“Go figure.”

Kevin looked at them, shrugged, and
held up the dollar.

“That was really hot,”
CeeCee
said with a chuckle.

“I’m going to have to jump his bones.

Oh wait, are you coming back to the house?”

“No,” Sky said from behind
them.

Alannah jumped and spun to face
him.

His face was set and determined,
and for a moment she thought he might be going into battle.

“No, she’s staying at my place.”

“Okay,”
CeeCee
said, twirling her fingers.

“Tootles!”

Traitor,” Alannah said under her breath but all her friend did was
wink.

The ride back to Sky’s house was
done in silence and with every second that passed, she didn’t know how to bridge
the distance that was growing between them.

She was big enough to admit that she was partly at fault because she
knew the game going into this.

No
strings attached.

And yes, at the
beginning that’s exactly what she wanted.

Bryce had done a number on her and the last thing she wanted to do was to
get caught up in a rebound relationship.

But, oh man, this didn’t feel like
a rebound.

This felt like it had been
twenty years in the making.

She didn’t
want to use the “L” word because no one could fall in love in less than a week,
but she really wished she had the opportunity to explore this thing between her
and Sky.

But to do that meant she’d have
to move to
Dexter,
and that…well, the old fears still
lingered in her mind.

When they entered his house, he
didn’t even wait.

He simply grabbed her
hand and led her to his room, and into the bathroom.

“Strip,” he ordered.

“We both need to shower.”

She wanted to argue but truth be
told she thought she smelled a little like horse.

So she did as he asked, taking off her
clothes and letting them lay where they fell.

Sky turned on the shower and adjusted the temperature before taking off
his clothes.

He followed her lead and didn’t
bother with them once they were off.

He
took her hand and brought her under the water with him.

It took everything inside her not
to gawk at him because he truly was beautiful, carved from marble and looking
like a Greek god.

His shoulders were
wide, his arms muscular, and she could wash clothes on his washboard abs.

His cock was big and hard and her mouth
watered to swallow him down.

And all of
this begged the question, what did he see in her?
“Penny for your thoughts.”

“I don’t think they’re worth that.”

“Try me.”

“I’ve got a little bit of
self doubt
going on,” she whispered and wrapped her arms
around herself.

She saw his face soften and he
enfolded her in a tight hug.

His dick
pressed against her stomach but for once it wasn’t about sex.

Right now, in this moment, it was about compassion
and comfort.

“Talk to me,” he murmured.

“He didn’t find me attractive
anymore,” she said, holding back the sob.

“He said I was boring.

Basically
said I was fat and lazy.

And if I can’t
make the man who pledged to honor and love me forever stay interested, then how
can you possibly want me?”

“Oh, baby.

I want to find your ex-husband and wring his
neck.

Let me ask you something.

How long did you date your husband before you
married him?”

“One year.”

“One year.

And you’ve known me how long?”

“Um…twenty-four years,” she
answered, remembering a similar conversation with
CeeCee
and Kevin.

“Yep.

And using the excuse of gaining weight is a
cop out.

It’s utter nonsense and he’s a
fucking jerk.

When you love someone you
love them for the person they are, not the skin they wear.

Nothing changes the heart and nothing changes
the love.”

And then he kissed her.

He cupped her face and tilted her
head, deepening the kiss as his tongue slipped into her mouth.

No matter the doubts or the questions or the
potential heartbreak, this is where they exploded.

Nothing had ever felt
so
good as having his lips on hers.

She
loved kissing him and the brief thought flashed through her head that she
wouldn’t mind kissing him the rest of her life.

But before she let that thought settle and make her sad, Sky was pulling
back.

He turned off the shower and took
her hand, leading her from the stall.

“I want to do something different,”
he murmured.

“Hasn’t what we’ve been doing been different?”

He grinned and bumped her forehead
with his.

“Do you trust me?”

Without hesitation she nodded so he
took her hand in his, and even though they were still wet, he led her into the
bedroom.

He left her by the closet door
as he walked inside and she heard some rummaging around.

Curiosity had her peaking around the doorframe
because the question had come up several times of where he stored his toys.

“Curious?” he asked.

She nodded.

His closet was huge, a walk in with multiple
layers, and one wall devoted to nothing but drawers.

He opened one and pulled out a pair of
handcuffs.

He opened another drawer and
picked up something that looked like a dildo, with a narrow tip that widened
toward the base with a flanged end.

When
she realized what it was, her lips pursed.

Anal sex?

Well, she wasn’t quite sure about that.

She’d tried it once with Bryce and hadn’t liked it because it’d been
painful and she’d felt dirty afterward.

But she’d said that she trusted him so she’d follow his direction.

Besides, all she had to do was use her safe
word.

“Do you want a blindfold tonight?”
he asked her and she blinked.

For a moment, she didn’t know how
to answer.

She loved how it forced her
brain to stop thinking about anything but what was happening, yet at the same
time, she’d never been with Sky without it, well, except in the barn and that
didn’t count because it was dark.

“Yes,” she finally said.

If he wanted anal sex, she wasn’t sure she
wanted to see what was going on and she was afraid her thoughts would stop her
from truly feeling.

So he pulled out the blindfold and
then led her over to the bed.

By this
point, she wasn’t apprehensive about not being able to see.

But the jingle of the handcuffs and the idea
that the butt plug was still out there definitely raised her eyebrow. Then
again, how could it not?

“Get on the bed,” he told her.

“On your knees, facing the
headboard.”

“I’m still wet,” she said.

“And I hope you get wetter still.”

That hadn’t been what she meant,
but what could she say to that?

Her body
seemed to love the notion because the words made her heart start pounding and a
flush of heat flashed over her skin.

She
did as he commanded and he proceeded to hook the handcuffs through one of the
elaborate rails of the headboard.

And
then he looked at her, waiting, and she wondered what he was waiting for until it
dawned on her…he was waiting to cuff her.

The handcuffs were the normal metal
ones, although these didn’t look exactly like normal ones.

A thick padded strip of leather lined the
inside and she realized it was there to protect her from the harsh metal if she
pulled or yanked on them.

A brief
picture floated through her mind of why she’d pull against them, namely if she
were thrusting against Sky, and her pussy clenched in anticipation.

Oh yes.

That’s what she wanted.

As soon as he clicked her in place,
he put the blindfold around her eyes and tied it in place.

Butterflies erupted in her stomach and she
felt her sex flood with wetness.

She
moved her hips and her pussy lips rubbed against her clit, causing tiny
fireworks to ignite through her body.

She was almost salivating at the thought that
soon she was going to be fucked and fucked well.

She heard a drawer open and close
and then felt the bed dip as Sky got on it.

His hand ran over the globes of her ass.

He pushed her thighs apart, just a little, so that her ass cheeks parted
and then the cool drizzle of lube plopped at the top of her crack.

It slid down, covering her back hole, and his
fingers began to massage it around the tight ring.

“Relax,” he murmured.

“I’m trying,” she said.

“But I didn’t like anal sex the first time I
tried it.

It hurt.”

“That’s why I’m putting in this
plug,” he told her and a second later something started sliding in.

She automatically tensed.

“No, relax, baby.

Push out.

That’s it.

Perfect.

It’s almost all the way in.

Ah…how do you feel?”

“Full,” she whispered, and it was
true.

Having a dick inside her pussy
didn’t make her feel half as stuffed as the plug did.

Maybe because it was a hole used as an exit
instead of an entrance and therefore didn’t get much action.

Sky had gone slow enough that she didn’t feel
pain, but there was pressure and a slight burn and she wasn’t sure how she felt
about it.

But she didn’t have time to think
about it too much because a slap landed on her ass cheek.

She jumped.
