Pirated Love (27 page)

“What was the reason you fired on the slaver?” Tina continued in a controlled voice, not giving away any of her own personal feelings towards the man or this situation.

“The reason?” he asked, surprised.

Tina exchanged a look with James before continuing.  “Aye, did they fire on you or make any threatening gestures before you fired upon them?” she asked.

“No,” he admitted, looking at her puzzled.  She was not angry and he did not understand.

“Then why did you fire on the ship?” she asked him again.

“Because it was a slaver!” he answered, exasperated, as though she should have known.

“So, because it was a slaver you fired on it?” she returned the question, further confusing him.

“Well, yes!” he said belligerently again.

“And you shot at the bow line so the ship would take on water quickly and be unable to defend itself?” she verified, as though for further clarification.

“Of course.  That’s a good way to fight anyone in a battle,” he said condescendingly, as though she did not know that.

She nodded thoughtfully.  “Did you, or did you not, take an oath at my grandfather’s castle to support me on this expedition to the Orient?”

“I did,” he answered proudly, further confused because her questions seemed erratic.

Just then there was a knock on the cabin door and Tina looked up, nodding to James to answer it.  It was Frank.  “Captain, sir, all accounted for,” he reported, saluting her.

“Anyone able to talk to the blacks?” she asked.

“Sign language is working a little,” he said, and she could tell by his tone it was not working well.

“Thank you, Frank,” she said, dismissing him and nodding to James again to close the door behind him.

“Well, that’s good news.  None of my men were lost in that,” she commented to the room at large, but was looking at her first mate as though making a conversation.

“Why’d you even bother?” Captain Richly asked her in an exasperated tone.

“Those were people you sent to the bottom of the sea, not cargo, not passengers, but people who had been stolen from their homes.  They did not want to be on that ship any more than you wanted them on it.  I gave no indication to attack that ship!” she told him in no uncertain terms.

“But it was a slaver!” he said, as though to defend his actions.

“And I steered wide of it, as did the other three ships behind me…but not you,” she said, pointing a finger at the captain.

“Well, it is one less ship of them,” he said, pointing with his thumb to the decks above them.  “That we have to worry about!”

“You do not like blacks?” she asked, calmly and deceptively.

“I do not approve of slaving,” he returned as though they were having a reasonable conversation.

“You did not think the fact that I gave no orders to attack that ship, that I steered clear of it and the other three ships did as well, indicated that I did not want the ship to be fired upon?”

He looked at her, surprised.  “Who are you to be giving me orders on me own ship?” he asked.

“My grandfather owns your ship.  You indicated at his castle months ago that you would follow me and my orders regarding this.  The order was implied since no other ship fired on the slaver.  You sent hundreds of slaves to the bottom of the ocean for what?  Because you do not like slavers?  The slavers, if you did not notice, merely got in their long-boats and are even now aboard one of my ships.  All you did was kill a lot of innocent men, women, AND
children
,” her voice raised at the end.  “You are a fool, and I relieve you of your command.”

“You cannot do that...!” he tried to argue as he rose up.  He would have shoved the bench he was sitting on further behind him, but it was bolted to the floor.

Tina rose too, and with a flick of her eye James opened the door and two of her people came into the cabin.  “I am arresting you for the deaths of all those people, Richly,” she deliberately left off his former title.  “You will be turned over to the authorities at the next port,” she told him and nodded to her men, who grasped him on each arm, throwing his knife and sword to the floor of the cabin.

“You cannot do this, wench!  You’ll pay for this, you cunt!” he swore at her as he struggled with her men.

Tina was at him in an instant and backhanded him.  “I can and I am!” she told him fiercely.  She could see beyond him to the door, and a concerned Claire looking inside.  “You cannot get away with the murder of hundreds of innocent men, women, and children, not on my watch,” she told him angrily.  “Take him to the brig, strip him so he has nothing hidden.  You are to ask me before giving him anything, including food or water,” she told her men, who nodded and hustled him away, still struggling.

Tina turned to the first mate of the Salty Brine.  “Evans, is your name?’ she asked him, and at his nod she asked, “Do you hold with his beliefs?”  Her thumb pointed down the hall where the captain was being hustled down another flight of steps to the brig in the deepest bowels of the ship.

“No, sir...ma’am...sir,” he said nervously and then smiled.  “Sorry,” he said, at his stuttering.  He was silently thinking that if he did hold with his captain’s beliefs, he would be a fool to voice them now.

Tina was amused.  “Sit down,” she said, and she closed the door on her curious wife, but not before she gave her a small smile.

They discussed the same things that had been discussed back at the castle and she gave him his orders.  Reaching into her desk, she took out some papers and filled them out on behalf of her grandfather making him captain of the Salty Brine.  “I expect more from you than that,” she pointed with her finger below them, indicating the imprisoned Richly.

“I will live up to your expectations,” he assured her, and was pleased when she handed him the papers giving him the captaincy.

“Captain Evans, I wish you good luck and good sailing,” she told him as she shook his hand.

“Th...thank you,” he stuttered in gratitude.

“Do you know who you will appoint as your second in command?” she asked him, smiling at his stuttering.

“Aye, ma’am...sir,” he corrected himself.  “My cousin is third and I will promote him,” he told her.

“Is he worthy of it though?” she asked, knowing that families stuck together sometimes, and that was not always a good thing.  If she was not a good captain in her own right, her grandfather would not have allowed her to head up this expedition.

“Aye, ma’am, he is.  I trust him with my life,” the newly appointed captain answered quickly.

“That’s good enough for me,” she told him, shaking his hand again as they both rose from the table and headed outside the cabin.  “You know my wife do you not, Captain Evans?” she said, acknowledging Claire who stood patiently waiting for her to finish her meeting.

“Yes, ma’am.  We had the pleasure of dancing,” he said, with a salute to Claire, who curtseyed in return.

Tina smiled behind his back, and her eyes twinkled at her wife, as she escorted the new captain to his ship, his appointment papers well in hand.  “Oh, Captain Evans,” she made sure to address him loudly so others would hear it and spread the word.  “I want to put in at Ledersay for supplies and to offload our…,” she looked around at the crowd sitting now on her decks.  “Passengers.  Perhaps they can make their way back home from there,” she finished.

“Aye, sir, we will follow along at your back,” he told her loyally, and saluting he swung across on a rope reminding Tina of the days when they were officially pirates.  She missed it a bit: the chase, the riches, the excitement.

Waving off the other ship, they sailed on and turned about to catch up to the other ships.  Shouting across to the other ship that had collected some of the slaves from the sinking ship, they determined that they had not lost anyone from their ship either and she told them of her plans to head for Ledersay on the African coast for supplies and to hopefully offload their passengers.  The word was shared with the other two ships in their contingent.  The other two ships had the crew of the doomed ship on them and a few other words were exchanged that Tina blew off, rather than get angry.  She directed her ship to take a compass reading so they could head towards the African coast.

Claire came into their cabin as Tina was saying to James, “So if we go here instead of here,” as she directed him on a map.  “We should miss any of the slavers that might be coming up through here,” she noted a well-known area where they tended to sail.

“I do not want to have to fight them to offload these people,” James replied, in agreement with his captain.

“Me either.  Keep the crew apprised and on the lookout,” she warned.  “Was anyone able to speak with these people?” she asked, concerned.

He shook his head.  “No, and we have at least a dozen languages spoken between the lads,” he responded.

She shook her head.  “Well, I do not want to sail into Ledersay only to have these people rounded up again and taken back into slavery.”

“That would not be good.  I estimate that there were hundreds that drowned though, and that crew cannot be any too happy about it,” he added.

“Aye, we will have to be careful about that too.  We must make sure our ship and the Dirty Merlin are in a full day ahead of the others so that we can offload our
guests
,” she stressed.  “Before the rest of our passengers.”

He nodded, “Aye, aye, Captain.  I will be sure to spread the word to the other ships.”

“Thank you,” she nodded again and acknowledged him as he left, his hand saluting Claire as he walked before her, “Ma’am.”

“Good night James,” she said cheerfully, as she turned to close the door behind him.

“Are you all right?” Tina asked Claire, eyeing her.  It had been a busy day.

“I thought I lost you today,” she said, looking sad.

“But you did not,” Tina said in return, as she went to put her arms around her wife.

“That was very scary what you did.  You were down too long,” she admonished, her own arms going around her wife’s pirate clad body.

“But now we do not have to worry about it; nothing happened, and I am here, safe and sound,” she smiled as she looked down at her attractive wife and thought how fortunate she was to have found a woman that loved her as much as she loved her in return.

Claire remembered how proud she was of her wife, the captain of this ship…how commanding she had been…how sexy she looked today without her bindings holding back her bounteous breasts that even now were spilling through the buttoned shirt.  She found Tina very exciting, and leaned up for a kiss that quickly got passionate.  She pulled back for a moment.  “I love you, Tina,” she told her emphatically as she caressed along Tina’s muscular arms through the shirt.

Tina’s arms tightened around her wife as she responded.  “I love you, too,” she whispered against her lips.

Slowly, they disrobed each other.  Tina paused only once they were both naked and standing.  She went to the cabinet and pulled out her dildo, quickly strapping it to her body.  Claire smiled in anticipation of the joy that toy could bring them both.  With a gleam in her eye, Claire kissed her wife deeply, expressing the love she had for the redheaded beauty.  She slowly kissed her way along Tina’s jaw and neck, and down to the breasts that were normally so hidden by her wife’s bindings.  Now free, they sprang out from her body, begging to be adored.  Claire did not disappoint either of them as she lovingly caressed them and palmed them.  Slowly, Claire kissed them, tonguing the now-erect nipples lovingly.  Tina’s hand on the back of her head encouraged her.

Claire kissed her way down Tina’s torso, the appendage between them poking into her chest as she slowly kneeled before the captain.

Tina watched with slitted eyes as Claire took the shaft into her mouth, her lips wrapping around the tip, her mouth bulging as she took it deeper.  Tina lightly began to thrust into the welcoming mouth, watching as the blonde took it, her mind imagining that it was really attached to her body as she shoved it in and out.  The captain’s breath began to come in pants as she watched her wife take her.  Her clit was hard against the appendage, the thrusts causing her all sorts of pleasure in her arousal.  After a while of these ministrations, she could not wait.  She tumbled both her wife and herself to the bed, their legs over the edge, as she took her wife deeply.  Claire’s cry of delight was music to Tina’s ears.  She eased Claire’s legs up and over her shoulders so she could thrust deeply and watch the blonde’s reactions, her own clit was painfully erect against the toy.

Claire had felt so naughty taking the toy into her mouth; she did not anticipate the power it gave her to tease her wife this way.  She also did not expect how aroused and forceful Tina would become.  Getting tossed onto the bed had been a surprise, but Tina’s thrust into her aroused and wet body had been welcome.  The fullness of the dildo in her body was incredible.  When Tina pushed her legs up and over her strong shoulders, the feeling of their lovemaking changed, with the anticipation of how much deeper the captain could thrust.  She arched so Tina could thrust even deeper, if that was possible.  The captain obliged her.  Their bodies locked in mortal combat, enjoying the sound of the flesh coming together, the moist sounds of the toy going in and out of the blonde’s welcoming body, the grunts of both of them as they took their pleasure.  Claire felt herself going over the edge and she gripped the sheets, pulling them from the mattress they covered, as her screams of fulfillment rent the air.
