Tyler and Nick gathered their things quietly as they let Jenna get on the boat without another word. Tyler and Nick navigated the boat back to shore.

It was a quiet ride home on the boat for them all. Jenna felt, in some way, relieved to have gotten that off her chest. It had been a heavy weight on her shoulders for so long. Her mother always advised her she should tell them about what had happened. They were her protectors, her voice of reason. Now they probably thought less of her. Maybe that would push them away from her and make it easier for them to part ways when it came time for her to go back home. Only thing was, did she really want to leave them again? It was hard enough doing it the first time. Could she do it again?

Tyler watched as Jenna went to her room and closed the door behind her. She had told them when they got off the boat that she was tired and needed a nap. They knew it was because she was trying to shut them out again. They couldn’t afford to lose her. Nick and Tyler had known she was hiding something from them, but they had no idea the extent of the matter.

“We need to give her some breathing room for right now. She’s feeling overwhelmed with everything she’s told us today,” Nick said to Tyler.

“I wanted to hold her and tell her everything will be okay, take away her pain she has kept bottled up for all these years. I wanted to cry when she told us about the miscarriage. We need to let her know that we are there for her now. Shit, Nick, we’ve always been there for her. I wish we could have been there for her back then when she really needed us.”

“Well, we’re here now. Now we are just going to have to prove it to her while she’s here.”

Chapter 12

Jenna had a doctor’s appointment the next day. She went to bed the night before, not wanting to come out of her room for dinner. Jenna claimed she still had a headache and just wanted to sleep. Nick and Tyler took turns throughout the night checking up on her. She didn’t seem to wake up with any nightmares that night. Maybe telling them what happened yesterday helped get rid of some of her demons.

The drive through town was just as she remembered it to be. All the same buildings were still open, drug stores and even her favorite diner where they liked to go have the best desserts.

“After your appointment, we can go have lunch at Millie’s Diner like we used to?”

“That will be nice. I would like that.” Jenna watched as they maneuvered the truck in front of Dr. Monroe’s office. Tyler helped her out of the truck. They walked on each side of her towards the office

Dr. Monroe was still the active physician in town after all these years. Dr. Monroe was at the nurse’s desk when they entered. “Hello, Jenna, it’s so nice to see you again. I hear you had a run-in with a truck the other day?”

“Yes, sir, I guess my mind wasn’t where it was supposed to be when I walked out in front of it.”

“Nice to see you gentlemen again. How’s the construction business going for you?”

Tyler beamed with what appeared to be pride. “Very well, Dr. Monroe, business has never been busier for us.”

“I’m glad to hear that, gentlemen. Now, Jenna, I was sorry to hear of your father’s passing. He was a kind man.”

It was Nick that spoke as he looked into Jenna’s eyes as they appeared glossy from wetness. “We’ve been taking good care of her. She’s been staying with us during her recovery.”

“Of course you would. I always knew you would all end up together again one day.”

Did everyone know about how they felt about each other in the past? Jenna thought to herself. “Doctor, I’m feeling much better now. When can I go back to California?”

All three men exchanged looks at one another. “I don’t understand, dear. I thought you were home for good?”

“Why does everyone assume that? I have to get back to my work and my apartment. I can’t stay here any longer.”

“Jenna, you had a run-in with a truck. Your shoulder needs to remain in the sling for another two weeks till I can take a look at it again, and you still have a knot on the back of your head. You need to stay in town and rest.”

“Ugh! Why does everyone keep telling me that? I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”

Lunch at Millie’s Diner was just as good as Jenna remembered it was. The waitress came over after their meal to ask what dessert they had in mind. Jenna ordered a big slice of apple pie à la mode. Nick had wanted to share, but Jenna told them she craved the pie and wanted it all to herself. They all laughed at Jenna. She had always had a sweet tooth when they were younger. Nick ordered a cup of coffee, and Tyler ordered a piece of Millie’s famous lemon cake.

“Oooh, can I have a bite of that, Tyler? That looks so delicious.”

“Sure you can, baby” Tyler cut her a piece from his plate and fed it to her.

“Mmm” Jenna said with her eyes closed. When she opened them to say something, she saw that they both were staring at her with desire in their eyes.

“Honey, I’ll buy you a piece of that lemon cake every day if you make that noise every time you eat it.” They all busted out laughing in the diner with the lunch crowd around.

“We better get going now. We have some work to do at home. Do you need anything while we’re in town?” Nick said as they were leaving the diner.

“No, I don’t need anything. Do you think I could use your laptop when we get home so I can check my e-mails?”

“Sure thing, honey.”

Jenna sat on the couch and tried to type on the keyboard. It was very difficult to do it in a sling and left-handed. As she read her e-mails she saw nothing new, just a few messages from potential clients. She would have to get back to them soon.

Jenna had noticed on her phone that she had two messages, one from her mom and one from Jeff. Jenna called her mom and told her what the doctor said. Her mother told her that everything was okay with her aunt and uncle.

After the phone call to her mom, she called Jeff back. “Hey, Jeff. How are you?”

“Jenna, don’t act like everything is hunky-dory. Did you see them? Have you talked to them?”

Jenna told Jeff about her accident and being at their mercy since her mom had to leave. “It’s like they’re in on it together in this town. No one will let me go back to California. The doctor won’t give me a clean bill of health, my mom suddenly has to go out of town to help my aunt, and I don’t have any choice but to stay with the two men I’m trying to get away from.”

“Jenna, why are you still fighting your heart? It’s obvious to everyone but you that you love Nick and Tyler. Stop fighting it for once and stop trying to run away from them. You and I never loved one another romantically, just the love of friends and companionship. I don’t regret the years we were together and the loss we shared. I wish you could just open your heart to the only two men you will ever love.”

“I don’t know how to, Jeff. I’m afraid if I try to do that again, something will stand in the way.”

“Jenna, I wish you could love them like I love Jessica. You know I asked her to marry me the other night? She said yes.”

“Well, of course she did. What’s not to love about you? You are a kind, loving, and compassionate man. Things happen for a reason, Jeff. That’s why it didn’t work out between us. Our hearts and souls just weren’t there for one another. Jessica’s a lucky woman, and I wish you all the best. Maybe she’ll give you that family you’ve always wanted?”

“You can have that, too, Jenna. It’s been under your nose all those years, but you just keep your emotions in check. Let them in, sweetie. Trust me. Don’t let another minute waste away.”

Chapter 13

“Jenna, baby, we have a surprise for you. Can you come in the office?” Nick said from the hallway.

Jenna walked from the living room to their office and stood at the door. “Honey, we want to take you out to dinner tonight. We have this nice restaurant we want to take you to.”

“Nick, I don’t have anything to wear to dinner. I didn’t bring anything nice to wear.”

“Sure you do, baby. I snuck out earlier when you weren’t looking and bought you something,” Tyler said with a big smile on his face.

“Tyler, you didn’t need to do that.”

“Of course we did, we didn’t want any excuses for not going with us. Now run upstairs and take a bath. Nick already has it ready for you. Your dress is lying on the bed for you along with your shoes.”

Jenna hurried up the stairs. She couldn’t believe they did that for her. When she walked into her room, she noticed this form-fitting strapless dress. It was beautiful. She held it up to herself in the full-length mirror and tried on the black strap heals that went with it.

“I can’t wait to see you in that dress. However, I’d much rather see you naked, for all I care,” Tyler said with a big smile.

“Thank you, I love it!”

“Jenna, I have your bath all ready for you. Come, honey, let’s get you ready.”

“I assure you I can bathe myself, Nick.”

“We just want you to relax and enjoy.”

Jenna followed them into the bathroom. They had lit candles around the bath and even had the jets on in the tub. “Oh, it looks so inviting. What a big tub, all for me?”

Tyler and Nick helped undress Jenna and ease her into the tub. Nick sat at one end of the Jacuzzi, and Tyler knelt by her head.

“We’re going to bathe you, baby. We need to touch you. We missed you last night. I feel the need to hold you every night now.”

Nick grabbed the loofah and body wash and began washing her feet and legs. Tyler then grabbed the other loofah, washing her shoulders and back.

“Mmm, that feels wonderful.”

Tyler let his hands wander lower to wash her nipples and breasts.

Nick went under the water and washed between her thighs and vagina. Nick began using his talented fingers to rub her clit. “Let us pleasure you, Jenna. We want to take care of what’s ours.”

Jenna felt herself rise above the water level to have Tyler sucking on her nipples. “You taste so good, Jenna. Your breasts are quite a mouthful. You’re so perfect, baby.”

“Please, I need to come. Make me come, Nick. Use that delicious mouth of yours, Tyler, to make me scream.”

Jenna could feel Nick’s fingers slide into her pussy and rub her G-spot where she knew would make her come quicker. He then used his thumb to caress her clit to send her over the top. She ran her fingers in Tyler’s hair and held on for dear life. Jenna grinded down on Nick’s fingers until her orgasm came to an end.

“Now get dressed. We have reservations at seven, honey. If we don’t get you out of that bath and into your dress, we might not ever make it to the restaurant in time.”

They helped Jenna out of the tub. Nick grabbed the towel by the tub and lightly patted her dry. Jenna watched out of the corner of her eye to see Tyler had taken off all his clothes and gotten in the shower. He was magnificent to look at. They both were.

Jenna had to get out of the bathroom before she jumped into the shower with him. “Thank you, Nick. I think I can get dressed on my own.”

“As you wish, my love. I’m going to take a quick shower, too.” Nick undressed and went in the bathroom when he heard the shower shut off. Tyler then emerged from the bathroom wrapped only in a towel.

These men were magnificent creatures. Nick had this perfect ass Jenna wanted to take a bite of. And Tyler had the chest of a sculpted God. They were so perfect in her eyes. Why couldn’t she just open up and let them in?

The dress they bought her fit perfectly and so did the shoes. It even looked good with the ugly sling on her arm. Jenna walked to the kitchen where they were waiting for her. Nick wore a white long-sleeved shirt with tan dress pants. Tyler wore a black dress shirt with charcoal slacks. They looked handsome. Jenna stared at them, waiting for them to say something when she walked into the room. The men were speechless. Jenna had taken their breath away. Nick had a bouquet of flowers in his hand as she entered the kitchen.

“Baby, you look amazing,” Tyler said as he handed her the bouquet.

“Honey, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” He then pulled Jenna into a tight embrace and leaned over to kiss her passionately on her lips.

Jenna felt light-headed when they kissed her. She gazed at both of them and said, “You both look so handsome. I can’t wait to show you off.”

“We better get going now. I feel the need to wine and dine our woman here,” Tyler said as he kissed her cheek.

Nick and Tyler had reserved a private booth in the back of the beautiful restaurant. Jenna had been to a few places like this one in California, but never with two of the most seductive-looking men in her life. Their meal was delicious, and the atmosphere was romantic. Jenna couldn’t ask for a more amazing night with anyone else. It was just perfect. Jenna couldn’t wait to get home with these two. She really did want them and need them more than she felt the need to confess. They had worn her down. Jenna wanted Tyler and Nick more than anything in this world.

“Thank you, the both of you, so much for this wonderful night. I’m sorry I’ve been so miserable and nasty to you both. I really do appreciate everything you’ve done for me.”
