She turned and, with her head held high, she walked out of Thrash’s life.

Indigo left with a warning. “You don’t touch what is Rebel’s. He isn’t going to be pleased when he hears how you held her against that wall. Tramp, you’d better call Rebel.”

The door slammed and Tramp looked disgustedly at Thrash. “I just made a deal with Rebel. They know where Honey is. If you fucked that up, I swear to God, I’ll put a bullet in you myself. After I talk to him,
if
he’s still willing to tell me where she is, you’re the one who’s going to go get her. You don’t need to be around here for a while.”

He moved to the phone to call Whiskey’s house.

Thrash stood looking at the door. Goldilocks was gone. Who was going to make him laugh? He realized he wasn’t in love with Elena. The woman he loved had just walked out of his life.
