Dakota sealed the wounds on his thighs and licked the heavy vein on Blair’s cock, biting down on it.

“Fuck!” Blair screamed as hot ropes of seed shot out, hitting him on his chest and under his chin, and his head thrashed from side to side as he drew his knees up, legs falling to the side.

“That’s it, baby. Let it go. Feel.”

“Fuck me, Dakota.” Blair begged breathlessly. He felt slicked fingers enter him, his mind a foggy mess. Dakota threw Blair’s legs over his arms then sunk in deep. Blair had an urge to babble. Pulses of eroticism coursed through him when Dakota began to bite him then seal the wounds. His body became Dakota’s playground. Blair began begging his wolf to make him come.

Dakota snapped his hips harder, pounding into Blair’s hole. Blair came again, and Dakota joined him. His wolf fell over Blair and sank his teeth in.

“Do you think we should go see if he’s okay? Maybe he’s not mad anymore.” Johnny sipped on his orange soda as he and Cecil climbed the stairs.

Before Cecil could stop him, Johnny opened the bedroom door and ran in.

“I’m, uh, I’m—”

“Get out!” Blair grabbed for a shirt, but it was too late. Cecil and Johnny had seen all of Kota’s marks covering his entire upper torso.

“What the fuck?” Cecil ignored Blair’s outburst and stepped further in, watching Blair put on his shirt, covering his patchwork of bite marks. “Is he hurting you, Blair?”

“Mates aren’t supposed to hurt each other, Cecil.” Johnny

whimpered.

“He’s not hurting me. Please, leave.” Blair stormed into the bathroom and slammed the door.

“Come on, buddy. I think Blair wants to be alone.” Cecil pulled Johnny from the room, taking him straight to Maverick’s office. He walked in to see Hawk and Kota talking with his mate.

“Maverick, can I please speak to you in private?” Cecil shot Kota a stare, nervous to be in the same room with him. The wolf was huge.

How could he use that strength against his mate?

“Sure, baby. If you guys will excuse me. I won’t be but a

moment.” Maverick ushered everyone out, and Cecil held Johnny’s hand to keep him there. Hawk tilted his head at Cecil but left with Kota.

“What’s up, love?” Maverick took a seat behind his desk as Cecil walked over with Johnny.

“Kota’s hurting Blair!” Johnny shouted before Cecil could approach the subject delicately.

“Calm down, Johnny. Why would you say that?”

“’Cause we walked into his room, and he had a bunch of bites all over his body. He tried to cover it and yelled at us to get out. He locked himself in the bathroom. You have to do something,

Maverick.” Johnny was twisting his hands and rocking from foot to foot.

Maverick looked over to his mate. Cecil nodded his agreement.

“Okay, I want you two to go in the kitchen and make yourselves something to eat while I talk to Kota. Okay?”

They nodded in unison and left.

Kota and Hawk came back in, taking a seat.

“Hawk, would you mind giving me a moment with Kota?”

Hawk inclined his head and went in search of his mate.

“What’s going on, Maverick?” Kota didn’t like the feeling he was getting from everyone. Something was going on, and it wasn’t good.

Had Blair freaked out again? He didn’t think so. The little guys would

have told him. Kota leaned forward on the couch, placing his elbows on his knees, waiting for his Alpha to spill it.

“I need you to answer me honestly, Kota. Are you being rough with your mate? Hurting him?” Maverick asked with a look of fury on his face.

“Why would you even ask me something like that? Do you

honestly think I would harm my mate?” Kota couldn’t believe he was having this conversation. He couldn’t understand why Maverick, his best friend, would accuse him of something like that. He knew the Alpha would kill anyone who abused a mate—all the warriors would—but this wasn’t the case.

“He has multiple bite wounds covering him. So, I will ask you again, are you hurting Blair?”

“It’s none of your damn business what goes on between me and my mate.” Kota stood, matching his Alpha’s stance, anger etched on his face.

“Don’t force my hand, Kota. I’m only looking out for his well-being. Sit. Talk to me.” Maverick and Kota sat back down, Kota sighing heavily.

“He has a…thing for pain. Biting in particular. It’s something my mate wants and craves.” Kota was cursing himself for betraying Blair’s trust. If his mate knew he was blabbing their intimate business, he would be mortified.

“Really? Uh, okay. I wasn’t expecting that.” Maverick rubbed the back of his neck, looking at Kota uneasily. “Is it safe for him?”

“It’s safe. I monitor him. I know what I’m doing. I would appreciate you having a talk with your mate about keeping it quiet. I don’t want Blair to feel embarrassed.” Kota stood, turning to Maverick for an answer. Maverick inclined his head.

“Thanks.”

Kota ran into Hawk on his way to find Blair.

“Kota, wait.” Kota turned, placing his hand on the banister and taking a deep breath. He really didn’t want to have this conversation.

“Hawk, can this wait?”

“No. Johnny told me what happened. I had a talk with him about not mentioning it to anyone.” Kota wasn’t expecting the

Commander’s discretion. He eyed him warily.

“What’s up with the understanding? Aren’t you going to ask me if I’m hurting him? Everyone else seems to think so,” Kota bit out.

“When my mate told me what he saw, I knew. I know you’re not hurting him. Just…be careful. It can get out of hand pretty fast when sex is involved.” His Commander talked as if he had experience with this. Maybe he did.

Kota nodded then headed upstairs.

Chapter Seven

Blair looked at the bite marks in the mirror. He traced a fingertip over one of the healing wounds, his cock becoming half hard thinking about the way Dakota had sank his teeth into him. Why did he like this? Was he sick?

He had to be to enjoy pain the way he did. Blair remembered the first time he had cut himself. It felt as though the pain was leaving through the wound. The pressure relieved. He never let anyone else know and
never
let a john do it. It was too personal, too intimate.

Blair shrugged his shirt up onto his shoulders and buttoned it.

Would Cecil and Johnny tell everyone? Would they stay away from him now?

“Hey, stop thinking so hard.” Dakota came into the bathroom, wrapping his arms around Blair from behind. “Heard you had visitors.” His mate leaned in and whispered a kiss across the back of Blair’s neck.

“Great, now everyone is going to know Blair is a sick freak.” He tucked his hair behind his ear and ran his fingertips across the counter, refusing to look up.

Dakota turned him around, tucking a knuckle under Blair’s chin to make him look up, “Look at me, sunshine. You are not a freak. Let me clue you in on something if you haven’t figured it out yet. I’m a biter, have always been a biter, will always be a biter. What do you think I would do with a timid mate in bed?”

Blair wanted to object, but he curled his lips in to silence himself.

“My cock is hard enough to pound nails right now just thinking about sinking my teeth into you. I need a mate who can take the pain.

You’re that mate. Never be ashamed of what we share together.”

Dakota pointed to the bathroom door. “Do you think any those Sentries downstairs are straitlaced in bed? Hell no. I’ve heard the stories. What you like is mild compared to some of them kinky bastards.”

Blair’s eyes dropped to the bulge in Dakota’s jeans, licking his lips, looking back up at his mate from under his eyelashes. “You know, I could help you with that.” Blair tried his best to smile seductively.

“I bet you could.” Dakota’s voice dipped into a husky reply.

A knock sounded. “Fuck. Hold that thought.” Dakota leaned his torso back so his upper half was sticking out of the bathroom door, “Come in,” he yelled out.

“Uh, Maverick and I are taking our mates to the mall, and I wanted to invite you and Blair.”

Blair waved his hands and shaking his head.

“Maybe some other time. Thanks for thinking of us.”

“Sure. Later.”

“What was that about, sunshine? Don’t you want to get to know the people you’re living with?” His wolf placed him on the counter, cupping his face, and leaning in for a kiss.

“I’m not ready to face those two little guys. I will, just not right now.” Seems every time he got around them, something happened. He would be happier right now just enjoying his mate.

“Whatever you want, sunshine.”

Blair’s wrapped his arms around as his mate lifted him from the counter and set him on his feet. He remained quiet as Dakota undressed him. They stepped into the shower. Dakota leaned him back to wash his hair. Blair’s skin pimpled at the feelings of his mate’s hands running through his long hair.

They weren’t even having sex, and Blair was about to come.

Kota had just finished toweling Blair off when someone was banging on his door and shouting his name. He wrapped his waist and crossed the room.

“What, Murdock?” Kota bit out.

The Sentry apologized for interrupting, “Maverick has called all Sentries to the food court at the mall. Johnny’s missing.

“On my way.” Kota and Blair threw some clothes on and took off down the steps. When they got outside, almost every truck was missing. The gravel drive was always full. It was a sobering sight.

They got to the mall thirty minutes later, having broken a few traffic laws to get there so quickly. Kota found Hawk and Maverick standing off to the side, eyes searching the crowd. Hawk looked like he was going to kill every person in the place. He could tell the commander was fighting the change.

“We’ll find him. Don’t give up hope. He’s smart, Hawk.” Kota asked Blair to stay with Cecil while they combed the mall and surrounding area. They turned up nothing.

He heard Maverick shout, “Let’s go.” The warriors all headed for the entrance.

They pulled in front of a house that Jasper had told him belonged to Johnny’s brother, the kidnapper. This shit seemed to be getting better and better. They stormed the place but found it empty. After tearing it apart, they still found no clues. It was messed up considering the wolves were superior trackers, but you can’t track when not one clue was left to find.

The Commander was literally biting everyone’s heads off. What could his men do? They all made themselves scarce while Hawk tore the house apart screaming about his pretty baby. Hawk’s cell phone rang.

Kota watched as the Commander fell to his knees, crying.

Blair followed as fourteen pissed off wolves stalked into the hospital with a predatory gait. He and Cecil were in the middle. No one was letting them out of their sight. The Sentries had gone into lockdown mode as far as mates were concerned.

Maverick took care of talking with the nurse to find out where Johnny was. Blair could see Hawk was a mess. The fierce warrior walked in something resembling a zombie state. The nurse pointed over to the elevator. They had to take all three of them to get upstairs.

Cecil surprised him by holding his hand, squeezing it tight.

Once again, Maverick handled the talking. When the nurse asked if they were all Johnny’s family, Maverick confirmed that all of them were. It made Blair feel like he actually belonged to this hodgepodge of men. A warm feeling crept in.

Hawk was led to the back while everyone else had a seat. Dakota pulled Blair into his lap, cuddling and rocking him. Blair knew Kota was relieved that he was okay and with him. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what Hawk was going through.

Blair sat with Cecil in the den, trying to figure out how to play this damn game. Frustrated, he tossed the controller to the floor. “I officially suck at this.”

“Just gotta practice. At least you didn’t throw it at the television like Maverick did when he got pissed.” Cecil was chuckling.

“Believe me, thought crossed my mind. I need a fat, greasy burger. Is there a place in town?” Man, he could use some fries, too.

The thought had his mouth watering. A shake would hit the spot as well.

“Yeah, let me see who can take us.”

Cecil came back frustrated, telling Blair that most of the Sentries were either out on patrol or at the hospital, and those that were here

were, well, lazy bastards.

“Hey, Blair? How against grand theft auto are you?” Cecil

checked around him to see who was listening. It made Blair do the same.

Blair quirked a brow up. “Uh, very? Why?”

“’Cause I was thinking about ‘borrowing’ someone’s auto to get those burgers.” Cecil stood, creeping around the sofa, looking around the corner and down the hall.

“Not really wanting it that bad, dude.” Was the little guy trying to put him in jail? Or worse, deal with an irate wolf.

“Well,
dude
, I am. Let’s go.” He scooped a set of keys out of the glass bowl as they crept out the front door. They had no clue whose keys they snagged. Cecil hit the fob, and the truck at the end of the row lit up.

“Uh, Maverick, I think we need to move.” Storm walked into his Alpha’s office, confused.

“Why would we have to do that, Storm?’”

“Because someone stole my truck.”

“Hey, Blair, what’s that guy doing?” They had to pull ahead of the drive thru window to wait on their order. Fresh fries were cooking.

Cecil watched as a Jamaican looking dude with the Rastafarian hat on got out of his Hummer across the street and went into the restaurant.

Two cock diesel females soon followed. They wandered in for a moment then came back out. Cecil watched as the three crossed the street. Coming their way. They passed the driver’s window and walked into the fast food place they were sitting at. The guy stayed outside as the females went in.
