The Billionaire's Weekend Bride (14 page)

At last, he pulled his shirt from over his head and Kaya could finally see the muscles that she'd glimpsed earlier. His physique was perfect and she imagined he'd gained those muscles through rock-climbing or hiking or a hundred other wild and wonderful adventurous pursuits.

The thought made her even more aroused. Henry leaned forward to kiss her again and as he did, he gave one of her breasts a hard, firm squeeze, slightly more aggressively than Kaya had expected and she let out another moan, which was a mixture of surprise at the mild pain and pleasure at how it turned her on.

He took off his board shorts and Kaya saw him naked for the first time. Her eyes travelled down to his hard member, which was ready for her and she wanted to beg him again to bring her to that sweet climax she so craved. She began to shiver from sexual anticipation as he lowered himself over her and she went to lift her hands to draw his face towards her for a kiss, but a sharp tug on the rope pinned them once more to the ground. He made her wait a moment before he pressed his lips against hers, making it clear that this was his timeline, not hers.

Then, unexpectedly and suddenly, he pushed her legs apart and thrust into her, deeply and powerfully. Kaya couldn't control the cry of sheer pleasure that escaped her lips then and she began to gasp and moan as he thrust into her in smooth, powerful motions.

The sensation of the wiry twine securing her wrists, the knowledge that they could be found at any moment, her raging attraction to Henry and the feeling of his fullness inside her brought Kaya to impossible levels of bliss and her first orgasm came within seconds of him entering her, followed by two more in quick succession. Her body began to tremble and grow weak with how the pleasure he created in her body was almost overwhelming and then, with a final thrust and a low groan, he came to his own climax.

He took a moment then to look at her lying there once more. With a new glint of satisfaction in his eyes, he quickly untied her and rubbed her wrists gently to soothe where the rope had cut in.

"Did I hurt you?"

Kaya shook her head. She was so breathless from the experience and surprised at herself that she was left speechless. Henry pulled her towards him and kissed her more gently this time. “I knew from the moment I saw you that I had to have you and you didn't let me down."

The shaken woman sat up and ran her hands through her hair. Her body was glistening slightly with sweat from the humidity and the heat created by their bodies against one another. Henry set the door slightly ajar and a cool breeze ran through the hut. He began to grin again.

"Welcome to Florida.”

CHAPTER 2

"You did
what
?"

Suzie's eyes were wide with disbelief when she and Kaya found each other again in the early hours of next morning, but Kaya simply laughed at her reaction and gave a little nonchalant shrug.

"It was incredible, Suze. We made love and it was unlike anything I've ever experienced. He was wild, Suzie! He was so unafraid and in control. It was just what I was looking for."

"In a beach hut?"

"We could hear the ocean outside. There was this warm breeze. It was wonderful."

"Well, I'll be! And here was me thinking that you were a prude. It turns out you're just an exhibitionist."

Kaya laughed again and wondered what Suzie would say if she'd told her
every
detail of the night before, like how Henry had tied her arms and taken control. It sent an excited shiver down her body just to think about it. The stranger she'd met on the beach was so
sensual
. He must have seen and done some pretty incredible things to have learned so much about how to please a woman and be so uninhibited about his body and sexuality.

"What about you and Edward? You were getting pretty heavy when we left."

Suzie's cheeks reddened a little. "Well, it wasn't a
beach hut
."

"Where did you go?"

"I took him back to our place."

Kaya and Suzie were staying in a shared room at a youth hostel just a little way from where they were working at the marina cafe. It was cheap and cheerful and close to the shore, which was all Kaya was looking for. She laughed.

"Well, I guess it's just as well we were in a beach hut, because that could have been awkward in a shared room."

The two girls arrived at the cafe after their slow stroll from the hostel and were greeted by Connor, another waiter at the cafe. He was a shy, slightly nervous little thing with a very slim build, mousy blond hair, rectangular glasses and an anxious giggle. He was the sort of guy who was genuinely nice, but just so insecure around women that he had trouble finding a girl of his own.

He gently scolded them when thirty minutes later they were both still deep in conversation and he leaned up against the counter to ask them what they were chatting about.

"You girls are normally pretty chatty, but you've clearly got some news. What is it? A summer romance in the air?"

"Kaya did it in a beach hut!" Suzie announced.

Connor's eyebrows shot up into his hairline and he blushed slightly, because he was shy like that. "Oh. Well. OK, then," he said awkwardly. "Congratulations?"

"Oh, don't get all shy about it, Connor!" Suzie laughed, giving him a friendly nudge. "It's just sex."

"So, who's the lucky guy who treated you to such a romantic evening?" Connor teased gently.

"His name is Henry," Kaya replied with a dreamy smile. "Oh Connor, he's
gorgeous
. He's got this strawberry blond hair and these deep blue eyes. He's here for the summer to visit his cousin, Bryony. Oh, and before you both go judging me, Suzie slept with his friend."

"Who says romance is dead?" Connor chuckled. "Who's his friend?"

"His name's Edward," Suzie told him. "He's got an amazing car. A Ferrari."

Suddenly Connor's eyes widened and he lowered his voice as though someone might be listening, and leaned in closer to talk to the girls in a frantic whisper.

"That didn't happen to be Henry Dales and Edward Morton, did it?"

Suzie and Kaya exchanged surprised looks and slowly Suzie nodded.

"That rings a bell. I think he told me his surname at some point. Why? Do you know them?"

Connor nodded. "They come here every summer and cause trouble."

"Trouble, how?" Suzie prompted.

"The sort of trouble that idiots with more money than sense get up to."

"Money?" Kaya laughed dismissively. "No. He didn't seem the type, Connor. He was very down-to-earth."

"Edward Morton. Red Ferrari? Henry - strawberry blonde? It's them. It's definitely them. Wow. You girls know how to pick them. What did they do? Show off their mansions and butlers and tell you about all their celebrity friends?"

Kaya furrowed her brow uncertainly. "Are you serious? You know these guys?"

"They're bad news," Connor insisted. "Last year, Edward got into some trouble for selling drugs. Can you believe it? A guy as rich as him still slinging it? His Dad got him out of it, of course. He had some hotshot lawyer, or a fake witness, or bought out the cops or something, because it all just went away, but he and his friends are always high and driving around causing trouble. They think they're untouchable because they're loaded."

"Henry's not like that," Kaya said quickly. "He seemed really sweet."

"Sex in a beach hut ‘sweet’?" Connor scoffed.

Kaya flushed red. It sounded terrible when he said it like that and she cleared her throat and looked away, picking up a washcloth pointedly and glaring at Connor. "I think you're just jealous."

Connor held up his hands defensively. "I'm not judging, Kaya. I'm just giving you fair warning. Those guys are no good."

"I think you've got the wrong guys in mind," Kaya insisted. "I can sense a spoiled rich man a mile off. Henry wasn't like that. He seemed sincere and comfortable with himself."

"It's true," Connor insisted. "His father sends him here to do summer placements at one of the hotels he owns to train him for the family business. Edward comes along because
his
father wants his son nowhere near the family business. They spend the summer doing whatever the hell they want and causing grief for everyone."

"Kaya's right," Suzie chuckled. "You
do
sound jealous!" She threw her arms around Connor's neck sweetly and planted a teasing kiss on his cheek. "Don't worry, Connor. You're still our number one guy."

Connor sighed, rolled his eyes and shook his head in despair. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

His words played on Kaya's mind and she felt uncomfortable for the rest of the day. She'd come away to experience a different side of life. Had she just been drawn to more of the same? And why hadn't Henry said anything to her about it? She told herself that Connor was mistaken, or jealous and tried to push it to the back of her mind until the end of the day when she and Henry had planned to meet again.

After work, she and Suzie returned to the hostel, where Kaya got changed into another pretty beach dress - this time one that came only to the knee - and then they went their separate ways. Suzie was going to meet Edward somewhere else in the town and Kaya and Henry were reuniting on the pier.

She saw him standing there waiting for her as she arrived, and it made her heart give a little leap again, both from just how incredibly attractive she found him and from memories of the night before that made her feel both a little embarrassed and more than a little turned on.

She approached him and he greeted her with a light kiss on the cheek. He was wearing board shorts again today and another loose cotton shirt with a billowing collar. Somehow, Kaya just couldn't look at him in his flip-flops and baggy shirt and see one of the stuffed shirts from back home.

"How are you today, gorgeous?" Henry greeted with a bright grin.

Kaya smiled. "I'm fine. Yourself?"

"Better for seeing you."

The two began to stroll along and Kaya tried to find a way to broach the subject of finding out whether or not Henry was from a rich family.

"So, tell me more about you."

Henry laughed. "Small talk, huh? What do you want to know?"

"Anything. Where did you grow up? What do you want to be? What do you do in your free time? Anything."

"I grew up in Miami, as you know. I wanted to be a business tycoon, but then quickly realized I had no business skills whatsoever and then when my father died, I started living life for me and I'm still figuring out what comes next. In my free time I like to surf, read and have fun. ...How'd I do?"

Kaya laughed at him. "I'm just curious, that's all. I feel like there's more to you than you're letting on."

Henry came to a stop suddenly, fixed her with a hard critical stare and then rolled his eyes. "Someone's told you about me, haven't they? Well, there goes a good thing."

"I just want to know the truth."

"What truth? That I'm a multi-million, if not a billionaire? Does it matter?"

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"You know, I don't usually say ‘Hi, I'm Henry and I'm a multi-millionaire. Oh wait, forgive me -
a billionaire
.’"

"I told you about how I felt about rich men and you could have mentioned it. I came out here to find something different. I wanted to get away from all that."

Henry chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Get off your high horse, Kaya! Didn't you have fun last night?" He gave her a suggestive wink. "It
sounded
like you were having fun."

Kaya blushed again, feeling the heat spreading up her neck. "That's not the point, Henry! You lied to me."

"I didn't lie."

"You withheld."

"So?"

"So, you tricked me."

"Don't give me that. You wanted everything that happened last night as much as I did."

Kaya scowled. "You
are
just like the others. You think you're entitled to everything. Money, jobs,
women
. Well, forget it. I'm not bought that easily."

"Pre-prepared that speech, did we? I didn't try and buy you. It never came up."

"It
should
have come up."

Henry gave a disinterested shrug. "If it bothers you that much, you don't have to see me again, but I think that would be a rash decision. Last night was amazing. Are you going to give up a summer of sex like that for some prejudiced notion about rich men?"

"This wasn't just about sex for me, Henry!" Kaya retorted. "I thought I'd found someone that I could learn from. You told me you'd seen the world."

"I have."

"In your father's hotels?"

"Does it matter?"

Kaya sighed heavily. She felt like an idiot. How had she not seen that Henry had come from the same background as she did? She'd wanted to meet someone who'd come from a different walk of life, who could show her another lifestyle based on core human values rather than dollar bills. If she spent the summer with Henry, she knew soon enough it would all come back to fancy dinners and diamonds.

"I'm sorry Henry. I have to go."

Henry shook his head in disbelief and gave a little scornful laugh. "For someone who's meant to be ‘opening her mind’, you sure seem to have already made your mind up. If you don't want to spend time with me just because I inherited a lot of money and not because I've done anything wrong, then I think you're missing your own point.

Go back to your friend and complain about how I did such a terrible thing and then, when you realize that your Prince Charming will never get your blood pumping like I did last night and you're craving some real ‘experiences’, you know where to find me."
