Chapter 3

Luciano was pacing his hotel room. He hadn’t heard from Amber for over three hours. He called Bianca over an hour ago and she told him that Amber’s phone had accidentally died.

“Luciano was playing with it, but he didn’t tell us it was dead.”

“Where’s Amber?”

“She just fell asleep with Anthony. She’s been really tired. Bro, she misses you like crazy.”

“Damn it, I didn’t realize how hard it would be for her, but I promise I’m hurrying. I have to go out to this stupid dinner with my client and his wife and daughter tonight. I don’t want to go, but I’m hoping I could wrap up the deal tonight and get back home in the morning.”

“Well, where are you going out to eat? Some place fancy?”

He gave her the place of the restaurant and she teased him for wining and dining the client, but it was business. Making a life without crime had been hard, but it was what he wanted for his family. They had enough, he hoped that was behind him. Luciano still had one enemy in hiding, but once that was over, he’d be completely clean. Until then, the old Luciano would remain at the surface.

“Tell her to call me the instant she gets up,” he demanded before hanging up. At first he’d been scared that something bad had happened, but after learning she was sleeping he was feeling irrationally upset. He’d been thinking about her all day. When he called her during his first break from the three meetings he had today, he couldn’t get enough of hearing her voice, but she seemed almost dismissive, like she’d been distracted.

Getting ready for dinner with his plans on the possible investor deal with William Whittaker, he tried to block Amber’s dismissal out of his head. He headed to the bar at the hotel restaurant for a drink. It was then that his phone rang.

“Luciano, I’m sorry, I missed your call.”

“Calls, cara. Are you mad at me?”

“No, I swear. Luciano was playing with my phone and it died.”

“Amber, please tell me everything’s well.”

“Everything is wonderful, caro. Please don’t freak out. I promise all is very well.”

Luciano was just about to tell her how much he loved her, when his phone was snatched from his hand and a brash blonde said, “Sorry, doll, but he’s mine for the night.”

Amber watched her husband at the bar as she spoke to him. When that woman walked up to him, fear came over her. He wouldn’t. She couldn’t believe that he would do that to her and she was right. The instant that broad had said that, Luciano had that look on him that she’d seen when someone was about to die. That look that was pure evil. He’d hidden it so well over the years, but this woman infuriated him. He stood up from his seat, standing tall in front of the bimbo. Amber couldn’t hear what he was saying, but the woman was cowering in fear. Her only saving grace had been an older, well-dressed couple that pulled the woman a step back. It seemed that Luciano knew the couple as the man made his apologies. The two women left and let Luciano and the older man deal with the aftermath of the argument. Amber followed them to the ladies’ room. She wanted the woman’s head, but she hoped the bitch would gossip in the bathroom.

She stepped in right behind them. They didn’t pay her much attention and starting talking about her husband. “He’s so fine. I want him in my bed.”

“Did you not hear what he told you? The man looked ready to kill you.”

“He was only upset because his wife was on the phone. He was staring at me the whole time he was on the phone with her,” the bitch bragged, but Amber knew that was bullshit because she’d been watching her man. She planned to walk up and surprise him when that broad had come up behind him and caught him unawares.

Amber stepped into the stall, using all the strength she had not to punch that bitch in the face and slam her head into the sink. She started envisioning all the things she’d like to do to that dumb whore. She sat in the stall seething as the girl went on.

“Dad told us that his wife was pregnant again. He isn’t going to want a fat cow when he’s got this in front of him.”

“He already warned you off. What makes you think he’s going change his mind?”

“A few drinks, a few sneak touches. I saw how hard he was in the meeting today; I knew it was for me. He was just mad because his wife was going to be upset, and he’d have to deal with that when he got home.”

“How did you see it if he was sitting down? I didn’t notice it.”

“That’s because you weren’t paying attention. Remember he came in after lunch. I couldn’t help it. He was stiff as hell.” Amber wanted to smack her husband for letting any woman notice him hard. She knew he had been hard going into a meeting, but he said he had it covered and hoped it would go down before he walked into the meeting. She didn’t know women were going to be in the meeting. Men would have just laughed at him, but those bitches were drooling.

“The man is married with kids.”

“Who gives a shit? Since when has it stopped me before. I want Luciano so bad, and I will have him. I don’t care if he loves his wife. Men have needs, and he looked like he really needed it this afternoon. Can’t leave a man like that suffering.” She laughed.

Amber straightened her face. She calmed down her rage because she was going to end Luciano’s deal right this minute. There was no way she was going to let him do business with that man whose daughter would profit from the Rossi’s.

She stepped out of the stall in a new sexy, red dress and red-bottomed black stilettos. It hugged all her curves, even the small bump on her belly where their baby lay. She looked at her reflection, knowing she was stunning and nothing these broads could say would change it. She silenced her phone because Luciano kept calling her back, but she sent him a text while in the stall.
We’ll talk later.

I want to talk now.

I don’t care. I’m too pissed to speak right now.

The ladies immediately took in her appearance and she saw the blatant admiration and jealousy.

“Excuse me, ladies.” Amber washed her hands then then touched up her gloss. “I’ve got a man in my sights, too.” She walked right passed them and into the dining area. She spotted her husband talking to the man, but he’d clearly been pissed as he spoke. The man he was with couldn’t take his eyes from Amber’s figure as he approached.

~~~~~
“Are you listening to me?” Luciano growled.
“Sorry Rossi, but that woman needs to grace my bed and she’s coming this way.”
“Aren’t you married?”
“My wife and I have a very open relationship. She might want you along with my daughter.”
“I have a wife, and I don’t think a deal with us will work.” Luciano was about to stand up, when Amber placed her hand on his shoulder.
“I’m glad you let him know. I hope you let that whore know, too.”
“Amore,” he said in shock, standing immediately and taking in his wife’s clothes. “What are you doing here and what the fuck are you wearing?” he asked angrily. He whipped his jacket off and wrapped it around his wife.
“Luciano, I missed you. I didn’t know you were out wining and dining little sluts. If you decide to do business with them don’t come home.” She turned to try and walk away, but Luciano wasn’t going to let his reason for living get away from him.
“Damn it, Amber.” He spun her around and kissed the fuck out of her. “Don’t think I’d let anyone ever come between us.” He turned around with his arm possessively around his wife. The two bimbos stood there in shock. The woman they had seen in the bathroom was Luciano’s wife. He was about to address the group, but Amber decided she needed to put the woman in her place.
“You stupid bitches need to learn something real quick. When you mess with a married man, there’s the devil waiting for your pathetic asses. When you try and mess with my man, that’s how you get a special invitation to hell. Come near either of us again, and I’ll slit your throats.” Luciano couldn’t be more turned on by his wife at the moment, she could actually feel his cock harden on the back of her thigh. She gave him a look and a shake of her head and added, “By the way, that hard-on during the meeting was for me. They always are. So don’t even look at him again.”
“I believe my wife has said it all. No deal. And if you don’t roll your eyes in the back of your head, Whittaker, I’m going to end you. My wife’s body isn’t for public consumption.” He turned back to Amber, giving her a look mixed with desire and anger. “Amore mia, let’s go before I fuck you right here and have to kill all the motherfuckers in the room for looking at what’s mine.”
“Yes, Luciano,” she purred, leaning into her husband, who marched her out of the hotel restaurant. He didn’t say a word until he got her into the elevator and kissed her roughly. He pushed her against the back wall, protecting her head with his hand. “Mine, cara,” he growled before his lips crashed down on hers. He kissed his wife like he was branding her and forgetting everything around them, including the ping of the elevator doors opening and a couple gasping before letting the doors close deciding to wait for the next one.
“Yes, Luciano, better be the answer to ‘Did you come here with protection?’”
“I did. Do you think I’m stupid? I don’t need your anger.”
“What do you need, Cara?” Luciano whispered with his face on her cheek; his breath tickling her ear. The air in the elevator intensifying with sexual tension. Luciano pulled her face to his. “Tell me, amore. What do you need?” This time his words were almost like a plea.
“I need the possessive beast in you, I see it brimming on the surface. I saw it when she stole the phone from you,” she said. Rage replaced his hunger. He wanted answers.
“You were in the restaurant dressed like that for all that time!?” he asked, frustrated and pissed. Looking down at her clothes he damn near came in his pants. Her dress was so short it was only to mid-thigh and hugged every inch of her body that Luciano became jealous of the material painted on their skin. He stepped out of the elevator taking his wife with him.
“I was hoping to surprise you,” she said. “I didn’t know you were having dinner with hookers.”
He stopped them in their tracks just outside his door. “You know it was just business.”
“Business my ass. Those bitches wanted the dick that belongs to me,” she ranted. He knew she was hurt. It wasn’t his fault, but it was his job to keep her from tears. Opening their room for some much needed privacy, he scooped her up in his arms and carried her into the suite. The room was very tidy, so housekeeping had visited. Luciano took off the jacket she was wearing and tossed it onto the chair. Kicking off his shoes and slipping her heels off her feet, he sat her on his lap.
With her head turned to face his, Luciano caressed her cheek. The feel of her smooth flesh against his hand did nothing to stop the constant hard-on she gave him. “Cara, I didn’t want them to come to the meeting. After knowing what I know now, he wanted them to come and try to seduce me into making the deal at his price. You’re the only woman I want.”
“I know that, but it doesn’t mean it felt nice to have that woman telling me you were hers for the night. If I’d been back home, I wouldn’t know if I could easily believe you. Like that broad said in the bathroom, she likes married men. That I was pregnant and a fat cow, so why would you want me.”
“Ah, amore. Don’t do that you know that I love you so much, that it wouldn’t matter if you never lost any of the baby weight. Hell, I love burying myself in you when you’re about to give birth to my babies. I find you to be irresistible. I’m not other men, just like you’re not other women. Have I in our six years, minus those two months, given you a reason to doubt my love and devotion?”
“Never, but you know when you’ve got something so wonderful, you’re afraid of losing it? I’m afraid to lose you.”
“You never have to worry about losing me to another woman, or man for that matter.” He was glad to see a smile on her face. The tears on the surface were gutting him. “I can’t guarantee nothing bad will happen to me, but I promise to be careful. Hell, I went straight. Well, mostly straight. It would be nice if people didn’t fuck with my family, but I’m trying, amore,” he said with a pleading smile of forgiveness.
“Okay, but I really came here because I missed you.”
“We can talk about you coming all the way over here later. Right now, I need to strip off this dress that’s going in the trash and bury my cock so deep in your pussy that you know I belong to you and how much I’ve missed you.”
Luciano lifted Amber off his lap, standing them both up. Sliding his hands on her face, caressing her cheeks, he took her mouth again. This time unhurried, calm, and sensual. She whimpered on his lips. Her hands moving to his waist, undoing his belt and pants. Amber dipped her fingers into his boxers, cupping his ass. He let out a growl because he was so damn close. When she grabbed his ass it was usually when he had his dick in her mouth and she wanted more, or when he was deep in her and she pushed trying to fuse them into one.
Luciano reached for the zipper and worked his wife’s dress off her body, his lips not moving from her body. He tasted her flesh all the way down until he stripped her completely. Nudging her thighs apart, he knelt before his wife and pressed his face to her mound. She giggled like she did every time his face hit his mouth, but that little giggle always turned to a moan. Her thighs were lifted and wrapped around his face. Luciano moaned as he licked her lower lips, lapping up her honey. Her hands ran through his hair, tugging and pulling as she rode his face with him on his knees. His hands locked onto her ass squeezing her for more.
