THEATRE:

After the Second World War, Patrick Troughton returned to the theatre. He spent some time at the Amersham Repertory Company, the Bristol Old Vic and the Pilgrim Players at the Mercury Theatre Nottingham. Little is known about his various appearances. He did play Adolf Hitler on stage in
Eva Braun
and he appeared a couple of times with William Hartnell, apparently once as an understudy.
