He
went to move, suddenly aware that his weight was on her, but she only held him
closer.

"Please
don't go yet. Can we stay like this for longer? It feels nice," she said
with an intense blush on her face that made his heart melt for her.
"Having you … inside of me … being joined like this, feels nice."

He
kissed her then with the intense longing and emotion that he felt inside of
him. How he had come to be in this place, with this woman, he did not know, but
it felt like perhaps he had always been moving towards her, nudged along by
life and fate, with every intention of ensuring the two of them became one,
entwined together like this.

As
their kissing deepened he felt himself growing once more, and heard her moan at
the sensation, as if she did not realize what was happening. He took his time,
moving only a small amount and with great care in the speed of his movements.

He
pulled away from their kiss and looked into her eyes to make sure she was not
in any discomfort, but only saw arousal at the movements he was creating in
her.

Isabella
had not known that pairing with someone could be like this. She had thought
they would have to join once and then she would be with child. She had not
anticipated the feelings that were occurring in her from them being joined as
they were. And she had not known that it would not be only once that they did
it. This revelation made her smile. If they would keep doing this to make
children, it was something she would indeed relish for the rest of her life.

Having
climaxed so soon before,
Trent
now maintained a steady rhythm inside of her over
a longer time, and could see on her face and hear in her sounds that she was
enjoying the sensations she was experiencing. It drove him on to make it last
even longer and to let her become familiar with everything that was happening
between them.

When
she started to naturally move her hips underneath him, meeting his movements
with hers, she heard him groan and it drove her on to keep doing it. Finally,
with the intensity of her moving in such a way, he could not hold back any more
and she heard and felt him climax again.

"Oh,
Isabella," he breathed out heavily as his body convulsed.

He
relaxed on top of her for a moment and then lifted himself out of her,
remaining as close to her as he could but manoeuvring them so they could both
be under the covers they had been lying on top of. Once settled, he pulled her
into his arms, her head resting on his chest, and kissed her forehead softly.
This part of being entwined with her - the love making - he had not thought
would be as overwhelming to him, given how many women he had been with, but the
opposite was true. Lying with her in his arms he felt like he had finally come
home.

Isabella
lay quietly and felt herself falling asleep, her body now relaxed enough in the
knowledge that it had undergone something new and exciting. Even right now, in
this moment, a baby could already be being formed, and the thought made her
smile against his chest.

Hearing
Trent
's breathing deepen to indicate sleep, she let herself also drift
off, the smile secure on her face.

Trent
woke the next morning to find Isabella lying
beside him, watching him. Immediately he pulled her close and kissed her
softly, intended as a light good morning kiss, but it caught with her and she
moved her body against his and turned the soft kiss into a passionate one.

"Please,"
she said quietly, seeming to him to want him to move inside her, but instead he
lowered his finger down while he kissed her, and encouraged her body to relax
as he caressed her at her core, and he soon felt her convulsing against his
hand.

At
the same time, he felt her hand move down and touch him. It was the first time
she had touched a man in such a way, and Isabella found the sensation of
holding him to be strange and yet wakened her up even more as she heard him
moan quietly at her touching him.

They
were lying side by side and he moved himself so that he was at the right height
before pulling her uppermost leg over his hip, and slowly nudged into her. He
saw Isabella's eyes go wide at the different position but then she seemed to
naturally find her way and started to move with him once more, and it did not
take long this time before
Trent
found himself lost in the sea of pleasure again.

Finally,
both satisfied, he kissed her softly again and she smiled at him.

"I
like this," she said shyly and he laughed softly at her.

"So
do I."

"We
must leave here this morning and then we shall live in our own home," she
said and he nodded while laying soft kisses over her lips, forehead and cheeks.

"I
must find an occupation," he said and she looked at him curiously.
"If I am living here I must contribute. Who would I speak to about what I
should do?"

"We
all find our own place - well everyone except me. I am still trying to find
my
place! But what did you do where you came from?"

Trent
found himself wondering how to even answer that
question, given that he had been a software designer previously.

"I
did not do anything like what the people here do, so I would like to try some
different things and see if I have any skills in … anything."

She
nodded at him. She understood perfectly the uncertainty of not knowing which
aspects of village life one was meant to help others with.

"Let
us go to breakfast and then I will introduce you to some people in different
parts of the village. You can talk to them and see who needs help. Perhaps that
will help you decide."

He
kissed her then, taking one more moment to look at her as she was right now,
relaxed and sated, before he started to pull away and dress.

"Yes,
let us go and eat. I shall not get anything done today if I keep lying here and
looking at your beautiful face and lovely body."

Isabella
heard the compliment and blushed heavily, but smiled at him and moved to dress
also.

Once
ready, and having tidied the room, they left together and stepped out into the
sunshine on their first morning as a paired couple.

"Isabella,"
Adrian
addressed her as she sat down beside him,
Trent
settling onto the other side of her. "Are you well?" he asked her
quietly but saw her smile brilliantly at him.

"I
am well,
Adrian
," she said and it encouraged both men beside
her to acknowledge each other.

"Good
morning
Adrian
,"
Trent
offered first, and after a moment found the
greeting returned.

"
Adrian
,
how is work at the mill? Is there need of another hand down there?" she
asked her lifelong friend and saw him nod in acknowledgement.

"It
has been slow with the water flow slower than usual, but it has been increasing
once more in recent days. Do you wish to work in the mill,
Trent
?"
he asked the man, resolved that holding any kind of concern or dislike for him
would do no-one any good.

Trent
looked uncertain before he answered.

"I
do not know yet what I can do, so I thought I might spend some time in
different areas as I am needed, until it becomes clear where I should be."

Adrian
nodded.

"I
can take you down to the mill after we finish eating, if you wish. The mill has
many aspects to it so there will be many things you can try to see if you wish
to keep working there."

"Thank
you," he heard
Trent
say.

Adrian
wanted to not like the traveller, being the one who had secured Isabella's
heart, and so quickly, but there was nothing he could sense about Trent that
would warrant such a harsh judgement so conceded he had to let go of any
difficulty in his feelings. Looking at Isabella this morning, he could only see
great happiness on her face, and he did appreciate the traveller for that.

After
finishing their food, all three washed and put away their dishes and then
walked out into the sunshine, where Isabella turned to
Trent
.

"I
will go and do some chores now," she said and pulled him close to her.
"I will see you at the evening meal?"

He
nodded at her, drinking in her beauty before pulling her even closer and
kissing her. She said goodbye to
Adrian
and then walked back into the kitchen,
Trent
watching her as she walked away.

"I
believe that you do very much love her,
Trent
," he heard
Adrian
say, and
redirected his view to the man beside him.

"I
do," he said as they started to walk. "Very much."

"It
is good to see my friend so happy."

Trent
considered the words. He had thought
Adrian
wished to pair with Isabella himself, and yet there was no hint of malice in
his voice at all.

"I
will always work to make her happy,
Adrian
. You have my word on that."

The
two of them walked the rest of the way in silence, each in their own thoughts.

~~~~~
On
return to the kitchen, Isabella sought out Cook Mary.
"Ahh,
Miss Isabella. How are you today?" she asked with a gleam in her eye that
made Isabella laugh.
"I
am well, Cook Mary. How can I help you this morning?"
"If
you can just collect the eggs that are waiting, and then perhaps some spinach.
Take this basket with you and after getting the eggs, fill the basket to the
top with as much spinach as you can fit in there, and that will be lovely for a
nice spinach and egg pie for our evening meal."
Isabella
nodded and smiled.
"Of
course," she said and walked out into the sunshine once more. For a moment
she stood still, feeling its warmth on her face.
"Daughter,"
she heard her mother's voice say from beside her. "Are you well?"
Isabella
smiled at her mother before finding herself bold enough to lean in and put her
arms around her, a move that was rare and surprised her mother.
"Yes,
I am very well, Mother."
Crisiana
looked at her daughter and could see on her face that the evening had been a
success and would hopefully result in a child soon. She said nothing more to
Isabella, instead smiling at her and then walking along as always, as part of
her day.
Isabella
looked after her mother. They had always been close but had seemed more shy of
one another in recent years. Now Isabella found herself wanting to be close to
her once again, particularly if there was a chance she was already with child.
Isabella
moved on with her chores of gathering eggs from the chickens, and going to the
garden to get the spinach, before taking all back to the kitchen.
"Can
I help you with anything else, Cook Mary?" she asked, suddenly feeling …
lonely.
"Oh
no, thank you Miss Isabella. This is all that I needed."
Isabella
once again stepped outside, feeling an emptiness inside of her. She walked to
where the tailors worked and looked at them longingly.
"Miss
Isabella, do you require new clothing? Or perhaps something mended?"
"No,"
she replied, sighing at the same time, and the elderly woman came to her.
"You
sound as if you need an occupation, young one."
"Yes,
I think you may be right. I know that I help people when I am needed but I do
not have an established
thing
that I do each day. And I feel as if I
should."
Her
words were greeted with a smile from the woman before her.
"You
have just had your pairing, have you not?" she asked and Isabella nodded
with a touch of blush on her face. "Then I think your place will soon be
centred around raising a youngling, Isabella. Being a mother is the most
demanding role of all. Do not underestimate how taxing it can be, or how
incredibly rewarding it can be. Be patient and a child will come, and then you
may find yourself wishing you
had
more time."
Isabella
nodded and smiled, and then bid the older woman farewell.
Not
sure where to go or what to do, she walked down to the pool. Seeing no-one
there she waded in, wearing her shift dress, and relaxed into the warm water.
She sat against the far side of the pool and closed her eyes, listening to the
waterfall and remembering the night before.
She
was in awe of how the night had panned out. So many things about it she had
been unprepared for - not just the act of child making itself, but also how
wonderful it would feel. It was something no-one had ever talked to her about,
so she had embarked on it completely blind, but even in her inexperience she
knew that she and Trent had fitted well together and both equally enjoyed their
time together. The way he had made her feel when he touched and kissed her, and
the way he had felt when inside her … it was a beautiful thing that she could
not wait to do with him again and again.
