grew from the suggestion made by the Friends of Christ Church Cathedral, that a story, set in Christ Church, could be written for children and incorporate some of the history of the cathedral.
The Friends of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin was formed in 1929 to assist the cathedral, making it one of the longest established groups of cathedral Friends in Britain and Ireland. Members
of the Friends help support the cathedral’s worship and conservation, its fine musical tradition and
organise social events such as tours, lectures and other functions
