Winning Her Love (9 page)

Before Lana could respond, he took her mouth to his, devouring her. Lana closed her eyes and arched up to him. Chad trailed his hands over her body, tension building high within him. He wanted Lana so bad. He wanted to kiss every inch of her body, all curves, round stomach, full breasts, big strong thighs perfect for gripping onto him. Chad had jacked off to mental images of Lana’s body for years. Her body was better than he remembered.

Lana opened her eyes and reached up clumsily, pushing his shirt up and off. Once she’d reached her goal, she ran her hands over his stomach, moaning, and he let out a satisfied grumble at her touch. Slowly, she helped undo his jeans, yanking them down. He kicked them off, shivering as the tips of her fingers hooked into his boxers and pulled, shoving them down until he flicked them away. She sat up, brushing her lips over his stomach, moving down until her lips were inches from his cock. Her tongue snaked out and circled the tip of his dick before she moved closer and took him deep into her mouth.

“Fuck, gorgeous, that feels so good.”

She hummed around his dick, and the vibrations shot through him like an arrow straight to his heart. His body heated up, and he chanted in his head
don’t come. Don’t be a pussy and come as soon as she touches you. Show her you have control. For fuck’s sake, you had her all weekend. Hold off. Don’t come.

Lana’s hands came around to grip his arse, and he groaned as her nails dug into his flesh the deeper she took him. He wasn’t going to last. Her wet mouth and eager-to-please attitude had him close to blowing his load before he was ready. He stared down at her and had never seen a sight as hot as that—her eyes full of lust, her lips swollen, her hair a wild array around her, and her flushed skin against him. A sight that turned him on until the brink was inches away.

“Lana, you have to stop.”

She moaned around him, and he gripped her hair.

“I’m going to come in your mouth. Stop.”

Lana didn’t, she just sucked harder and became more eager, using her hands to squeeze his arse and moving one to hold the base of his cock tightly as she took him in and out. Holding onto her hair, he tried not to thrust into her, but the closer he came to his release the more he pushed in and out of her warm, wet mouth until he finally erupted, her lips still wrapped around his dick.

He let go of her hair and fell back on the bed beside her. “Fuck, that felt so good.”

They lay for a moment until he sighed and picked Lana up, moving them to the head of the bed. Fusing his mouth with hers, he kissed her until he felt his dick rise again. His hands trailed down her body, smoothing over her soft skin. His fingers searched between her thighs and parted her folds, gently pushing into her. He moved his fingers in a rhythm in and out as she joined in, moaning and arching into his touch. He moved his digits faster in and out, and her groaning became pants of need. Chad used the base of his palm to rub her clit. She hummed her approval, and his cock stiffened again.

In a breathless whisper, she moaned, “Oh, I… Please…I…need…to come. Make me come.”

Chad eased his fingers out of her as he lined his cock up to her core and propelled forward. Her pussy squeezed around his dick straight away, and he growled at the need that came to life. Leaning down, he sucked on one pointed nipple. Then he switched, doing the same to the other. She begged him to give her more of what she wanted. Tingles ran through his body, building his climax.

Lana trembled beneath him, gripping him tight and moving with each thrust, driving him deeper. A frenzied fog took over him and he pounded into her. He looked up and focused on her passion-filled face, watching her pleasure. Lana’s eyes were wide and filled with desire as she stared into his. Her lips were parted as she panted and held onto him tight, her nails digging deeper into his skin the more he drove into her. She was so beautiful.

Leaning down, balancing on his elbows, he whispered, “Come around my cock. I want to feel you squeeze me and look into your gorgeous face as you come.” He took her mouth as she opened it on a moan and ground himself into her.

Lana squeezed him as her body quivered around him and her core held him in a vise-like grip as it pulsed against him. Yelling his release, he let Lana milk everything from him then rolled them to the side, cuddling her.

They lay there basking in their bliss for a while before Lana sighed. “Not only did we probably wake Olivia up, but we did it again.” Lana sat up, her hair a mess and her face flushed with her excitement. “Are we deliberately trying to knock me up? The doctor’s given me the pill, but told me it would take about two weeks to start working and I should use other forms of contraception.”

He hugged her and kissed her forehead. “I’m not worried about it.”

“Well, I am. Chad, this is still new. We already hav—”

“No, Lana, we are not new. I’ve known you most of your life. You know me and I know you. We have a perfect little girl already. I have missed out on so much.”

“You don’t know me. I’ve changed, I’ve had to do a lot of growing up. You might know the old me but not everything about me. I don’t know much about you besides you’re my best friend’s hot brother. I’m sure you’re different from the guy who drove Steph and I everywhere or who agreed to be my date to formal and prom. Who came and picked me up when my boyfriend dumped me. You’re a Rugby League star now with a degree in media. I know you love your family and are all very close. I know what food you like and what beer you drink, but other than that not much. I don’t even know your favorite color.”

“Green.”

“Green what?”

“Green is my favorite color. I know yours.”

“You do?”

“Yeah, it’s blue.”

Her eyes widened. “How do you know?”

“The fact most of your closest is blue and when you paint your nails it’s the color you choose. I also remember picking up Steph at your parents’ house once and going into your room and it being the only one in the whole house that was sky blue. Not only that, you always chose blue amethyst jewelry.”

Chad smiled as Lana’s brows furrowed. “I didn’t know you watched me and noticed those types of things. Now I feel bad ’cause I don’t know why green is your favorite color.” She stroked his cheek. “Why do you like green?”

He closed his eyes and basked in the feeling of her touch. “The grass. I love the color of lush, green grass. It’s great for rolling down hills and sliding on cardboard, and it’s easier to play on nice, thick green grass than mud.”

Lana leaned in closer to him, her fingers gently exploring his body. “How much longer do you think you’ll play Rugby League?”

He’d like another five or so years, but he knew he was getting on in age for Rugby League. His next goal was to get a job as a sports presenter or a consultant. He had enough money to retire now if he wanted to, but he wasn’t one to sit around idle. “I’d like to be able to do another five years, but with my age I don’t know if that’ll be possible. If I was offered a presenter job or something in media in a couple of years and it was too good to pass up, I would take it. Right now though, I’m happy. What about you. What do you want?”

“I love my job. I love creating things, and to get to do it with flowers is just a bonus.”

“I know arum lilies are your favorite, but what else do you like?”

He loved watching Lana speak about things she was passionate about, her whole face lit up and she shone. “Yellow and peach roses, I love the different shades you can get of them. Gerbera flowers are so colorful and easy to work with. Then you have the natives like the BottleBrush Compacta—with some Denmark Pearl and Early Bird as foliage, it’s just beautiful. I’m very lucky to get to work with flowers almost every day. Flowers have so many meanings, but no matter what, people love receiving a bunch of flowers, and I love knowing I have made someone’s day.”

Lana’s tummy growled and she got off the bed. “I’ve cooked a cheese pasta bake for dinner. It should be finished soon. I put it on as soon as I got home. I’m going to have a quick shower, and then I’ll check on our food because I’m starving.” He got up to follow her, but she pushed him back on the bed. “Nuh-uh, you are staying here. I want to shower, and if you join me I know I will just get dirty again. Stay here, I’ll be right back.”

As the door was about to shut she added, “Olivia will wake soon. Please get dressed. I don’t want her to find you there like that. It’s bad enough she probably has been awoken by us.” Lana sat her hand on her hip. “I have been so responsible, making sure I watch what I do and say now that I have Olivia. She absorbs everything and repeats anything she sees.” Lana sighed. “She’s so advanced. This morning she asked for her third birthday that is in a couple of months if we can go on a holiday as a family. She talked nonstop about you until she fell asleep last night.”

Chad felt his heart soar that his daughter liked him. He wanted to give her anything she wanted. “We can go on a holiday when the season is finished.”

Lana bit her bottom lip and studied him before she nodded. “We will see.” With that she shut the bathroom door.

He lay back on the bed, happy with how everything had gone. He looked around the little bedroom in Lana’s tiny townhouse and wondered if it would be too soon to ask her and Olivia to move in. As he heard the water turn on he got out of bed but jumped back in and covered himself with the quilt when a little bundle came running in the room.

“Daddy.” Olivia threw herself at him, and he caught her before her feet almost hit his groin.

“Princess, how was daycare?” He wrapped his arms around her and snuggled her to him.

Olivia took a deep breath in. “It was real good. I told everyone I haves a Daddy. I tolds them all that I haves a Grandma and she took me to the zoo and got me a raah, it’s lion.” She shoved the stuffed lion he didn’t realize she had in her arms in his face and continued, still barely taking a breath. “I have uncles too, lots. And I told them my daddy’s job is to play with balls all day long.”

Chad choked on a laugh as his daughter said what she told everyone he did for a job. “Honey, I’m a Rugby League player.”

Olivia nodded. “Uh-huh, that’s what I saids, you’s a Ruby League player.”

Kissing her head, he smiled. “That’s right, a Rugby League player. It sounds like you had a big day telling everyone about me and Grandma and Granddad and your uncles.”

“Yep. Daddy, what are yous doing in Mummy’s bed?” Olivia looked up at him with big, innocent eyes.

Clearing his throat, he glanced at the bathroom door and heard that the water was now off. He debated for a moment if he should wait and let Lana answer, but he knew he had to get used to answering his daughter’s questions. “Well, most Mummy’s and Daddy’s sleep in the same bed.”

Olivia studied him. “So yous will be sleeping here and be here to take mes to daycare tomorrow?”

Chad looked over at the bathroom door again and then back to his daughter. He should know where Olivia went to daycare and they should know he was her father. He also wanted Olivia and Lana to live with him, so Olivia would need to get used to seeing him in bed with Lana. He would ring and tell them he would be coming in to training later. He’d tell them about Olivia. He needed his work to know about Lana and Olivia.

“Yes, I’ll drive you to daycare and Mummy to work tomorrow.”

Olivia bounced on his lap. “Yay. Let’s go, Daddy. I wanna shows yous my room.”

The door to the bathroom opened and a grinning Lana came out with a towel wrapped around her and tucked in above her breasts. He pleaded with his eyes for her to help. She leaned against the door and chuckled. “Baby girl, why don’t you go check and make sure your room is tidy enough for Daddy to get in without stepping on any toys? When you come back Daddy will be waiting.”

Olivia’s gaze went from him to her mother’s before settling back on him. “Be ready.” She didn’t even wait for his reply before she jumped off the bed and ran out of the room.

Lana laughed. “If I were you, I’d get up and get dressed. She’ll be back quick smart.”

Lana didn’t move as he got out of bed and gathered his clothes. He shoved them on just in time as an out of breath Olivia came running back in.

“I made a space for Daddy to walk.” Olivia grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the room to Lana’s laughter.

* * * *

Chad stayed at her house the next couple of nights. Lana was unsure if it was the right thing, especially with Olivia, but she loved having her daddy around. They’d changed details at the daycare to have Chad and his parents as the contacts if they couldn’t get a hold of her. They were also listed as people who were allowed to pick Olivia up from daycare.

On Thursday after dinner, when they were snuggling on the lounge watching TV once they’d putting Olivia to bed, Chad surprised her. “Move in with me?”

“Say what?” Lana was sure she’d misunderstood him.

“You heard me. I sleep better when I’m with you.”

Lana wasn’t ready to give up her house and move in with him. She was happy with what they had now. It had only been a week since they’d started seeing each other, and she wanted to wait a while longer. “I can’t just move in with you. What about Olivia? I can’t just move. We have only just moved in here.”

“I have a game Saturday. My house is closer to training and has a gym and a pool. I need to stay there the next couple of nights, and I want you and Olivia there too.”

“I can’t stay at your place for the next couple of days. Olivia and I live here. She needs a bed to sleep in and all her things.”

“What if you stayed at my house for good? Come make my house our house.” His green eyes shone with hope and need, and Lana hated saying no, but she needed more time before she and Olivia moved in with him.

“There’s no rush, Chad. Give us a little more time.”

The light in his eyes dimmed. “You mean give you more time. Olivia seems to be happy to have me here all the time now. I have a room for her at the house. I want to make it her room. I’d love to do a princess themed room with my daughter. I’ve missed out on so much. I don’t want to miss any more of her growing up.”
