Cowboy, Take Me Away (Montana Cowboys/ Country Music) (5 page)

He knew her parents had her late in life and had both passed the year before she met him. She needed to clarify a few more things. “I want a big family. I don’t want to have one child to deal with our old age alone.”

“The house has four bedrooms in it.” He smiled at her.

“I want a dog, and a cat.” She bit her lower lip. “And I want a fish tank.”

“What else do you want?” He chuckled.

“You.” She stroked his cheek with her hand. He let those blue eyes settle on her and she was ready to give him anything he wanted even if she got none of what she wanted in return.

“I guess it’s a good thing I want what you want.” He pulled her down to kiss him again.

She sat up and looked down at him and said, “So then you know I have been a bad, bad girl, officer and I think you just might have to take me in.”

He laughed, but then surprised her by pulling out a pair of handcuffs. “Oh, I know exactly how bad you’ve been.”

She smiled as he pulled her around to dance as he sang along with Brad Paisley to

Author’s Note

I do hope you have enjoyed the Montana Cowboys/ Country Music Collection as much as I have enjoyed writing them. I tried to
give Roy his own story. I do know that readers wanted to know more about the lives of the other characters as time progressed. I hope I gave enough of a glimpse into the happily ever after’s that came before.

Thank you for reading!
