His hands framed my face the pad of his thumb lightly brushed away each fresh tear.

“We will get her back. I promise you, Alexandria, we will be a family.”

I buried my face into his chest and let myself cry freely. I would stop at nothing to get my girl back. It just made everything a little better to know that I had Onyx by my side to make me strong.
